This is not a complaint

I bought my Direct TV service at Costco via a Smart Circle rep. He was knowledgeable, except for one area where he made a mistake by telling me that the service plan was included in the price he gave me for my Choice package with NFL Sunday Ticket. When I found out the service plan was NOT included, I cancelled installation. I then received a call from Gary, the manager in this area who apologized for the rep, said it was an honest mistake, and what could he do to help. I wasn't sure and remained skeptical. Then I got a call from Karen, a marketing manager for Smart Circle, who said their company would pay for the service plan for 2 years to make it up to me and they sent me a check for the amount, which I will use when the free service plan expires. This company did everything they could to make it right for me and my trust was restored. DTV was installed, I am loving it. I have since seen the rep who made the mistake, at Costco, and he was very apologetic. This is a story with a happy ending. The $200 gift card from Costco was also part of the deal. Free at last from Comcast!

Poor service!

We ordered Direct TV from a salesman who came to our door on Sept. 9th. We were supposed to have our service installed on the next day between 1 and 5. No show, and no call. I tried to get ahold of the salesman, Kris K0sciclniak, left him a message, no call back. Finally got ahold of the company, The Smart Circle, and they promised to be out on Tuesday the 11th between 5 and 7. They called and said they couldn't make it again, and would come today, the 12th, between 12 and 3. I called to make sure this time, and they said they had to change it to 4!!! I canceled it, told them to reimburse the $19.99 to my sons account, and called Direct TV myself instead of the smart circle! They said that the company (the smart circle) had not canceled yet, and to call them back to make sure they put the cancellation through. Problem is you can stay on hold with this company for over a half-hour. Do not go through Smart Circle, Direct TV is getting a bum rap for this, this company is only selling their equipment!!!

Poor service!

I work for Smart Circle now and I can assure you that "No" is taking for an answer! Not only that but we love No's b/c every "no" brings us closer to a yes. Not all reps are bad. The problem is that reps come in not knowing the business like they should and get their own store to control and end up telling customers a lot of trash that is wrong and misleading. I hate that this happens. I'm sorry to all of you that have problems with the rep and when you have a rep lie to you please tell the manager of the store they were in. They will be fired the next day if not that same day I assure you. We are the middle man for DirecTV, not only them but far more suppliers than them. Do not let them lie to you. Best Buy: if you sign with DirecTV...choice package and above along with purchasing anything in the store $399 and above you will get the $150 gift card after mailing it in with your 1st month bill and receipt. Sam's Club: you will get an extra $10 for the first yr with plus card and $10 for 6mos with any other card. Those that work for smart circle and hate their job are not meant to do this kind of work. It's simple to work a lot of hours and be willing to deal with a lot of knows without changing the truth and lying to get a yes. It's called Attitude and Work ethic... I apologize to all of you that have been lied to and I would be more than happy to help with any problems you may have. Feel free to call me at 470-213-4208
