Fake

I agree with all the negative reviews that people are posting for UEI college. I was young and naive was living the moment and got exited when I found out I can have my dream job as a MEDICAL ASSISTANT in 9 months and will get the appropriate resources to find that job. I completed my semester and quit my full time job so that I can do my internship and guess what even though I pass with A'S was not higher in my intern clinic . When I ask for help to find jobs through the school they were always booked and no one was able to help me no appoiment no phone calls to follow up if my training worked or anything.
I finally gave up on M.A and had to find a job in any fild out there. 10 year have pass know went back to college and the bill of $14,000 follows me so I can't get the help of FAFSA every unit and class has to be paid out of pocket I wish I had done more research on this school they are full of LIES PMEASE DON'T FALL FOR THERE FAKE PROMISES . They don't care about your future if you get a job all they care for is there commission and there founds from the government !!DON'T FALL FOR FAKE PROMISES PLEASE!!!!!

My money back sue uei college

Uei is not what they claim To be.. they stole my money and I didn't get the education I was hoping for. They rushed through the books, and skipped a lot of needed lessons. I left confused, jobless, in debt and have no job to pay off the loans I took out. My promise was truly broken. Not just me others as well. Uei college took advantage of me and a lot of other. Now I know if they say....you'll graduate in 9 months it's a complete gimic. Fake fonny fraud. I would love to get my money back n clear my credit. I'm at home out of work, trying to teach myself. Becoming a Medical Biller was a dream goal for me to raise my family and have something to fall back on. I felt rushed n confused. When it was time for the codes to change, the new students got a 2014 code book, while us the old students was still learning from the old 2011 code book. When the whole class should of got the new book. To make a long story short, I deserve a refund. I have a diploma and I can't do nothing with it, because of lack of knowledge. But I'm fighting back. Fooled me once, but not again. Please help us graduates get the help we need to get our money back ASAP and sue UEI College ASAP.

this school is a scam

I attended uei college in 2014 I was charged 18300 and some students received laptops for the same tuition as I didn't they say u will learn all software which they didn't teach either some teachers didn't even know how to work the system so they would tell us o just skip it. Some students received 2 certificates for the same tuition as I just received one.

False Promises

My name is Deborah. I'm a graduate of UEI spring 2010. I was a 4.0 honors graduate along with perfect attendance. When I went to UEI and signed up I was very excited. I wanted to go into Business Management as I have extensive background in Human Resources (15yrs with Federal Government). When I met with the Dept. of Education at the San Diego campus (8/2009) "they" said that I would be a "great" match for the Medical Billing and Insurance Coding program. At that time I felt "they" understood my educational needs and desires for a fresh start. You see in 2007 my husband of 24 years had passed away. I had a son to raise on my own. I became permanently disabled in 2005. I wanted so much to be a success again and show my son that education is the key to success. I started the MBIC Program in September 2009. At that time and at my age (52) learning study habits and being disciplined was a challenge. However, I managed to maintain 4.0 and perfect attendance for the duration of program. I graduated with Honors 2010. I did EVERTHING the school had instructed me to do in order to be a success. Average 4-5 hours a day to study. I also served as mentor to other students. I served my externship at North American Health. After that 1st job UEI sent me on was answering phones for a real estate office on a Saturday afternoon. 2nd job I was sent to the VA in La Jolla. I sat through a 4hrs of information only to discover after words that it was for VOLUNTEERING!!!! Not Medical Billing or anything related to my field of study. Now 4 years later I haven't worked a Medical Office ALL positions I've applied for in the last 4 years have been a joke. Employers state I do not have the necessary skills. At present I work for a local pet store caring for small animals. All that means is that I clean rat, mice and guinea pig poop for $8.15 an hour!

UEI IS A JOKE! 4yrs later I'm worse off than what I was! UEI had a "quota" to fill for MBIC program. They took advantage of my eagerness to succeed. Now I'm $12,000 in debt for student loans and on the verge of loosing my car. ALL my calls are not returned or they keep transferring until system hangs up.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS SCHOOL! THEY ARE ABOUT NUMBERS FOR ENROLLMENT NOT IN HELPING PEOPLE TO SUCCEED!
