Pharmacist would not fill prescriptions

The pharmacist would not fill my prescriptions today because I’ve never filled this one there before. I went to 3 other pharmacy before and they were out of it. I’ve filled other medicine there before but he refused to fill this one because of me never having filled that one there, he said that his regular customers would not be able to get there’s if he filled mine. He was very rude and this is BAD business. I shop there often and do not appreciate being treated like this! I don’t know his name but this happened today April 8,2019

Pharmacy complaint

I went to Walgreens on highway 119 in alabaster Alabama 35007 today to fill a prescription. I attempted to go to 3 other pharmacies before and the medicine was not in stock. I’ve filled prescriptions many times before at this pharmacy. The pharmacist told me that because I’ve never filled this particular medicine there there he would not fill it due to other customers that get the same medicine would not be able to get it filled because it was limited stock only for the other customer. He was very rude and this was very unprofessional. I shop there often and I don’t appreciate this at all. This is BAD business and he needs to be reprimanded. I did not get his name but he was the one on duty April 8th 2019

Pharmacist Lied!

I went to pick up my monthly pain medication last month (Sussex, NJ) and was told my insurance is no longer paying for the pills I've been taking for some time now. The pharmacist said to me that my insurance would only pay for the pills if they come from a different manufacturer which I found out to be false after calling my insurance provider. The new pills that I received from the different manufacturer were way bigger and less potent, and I felt like I was withdrawing during the first 4-7 days of taking them. Also, I was in more pain all month while taking the different manufacturer pills. I asked my Dr. at my next appointment why this would happen with no prior notification. She said she's never heard of this happening and to call my insurance company which I did and found out the pharmacist was lying. My insurance is not manufacturer specific for the generic medicine I'm taking as I believe others aren't as well. It's believed that Walgreen's switched suppliers on their own doing and are lying to customers. Also, this Walgreen's pharmacy recently switched from being a Rite Aid, so I believe this has something to do with it as well. Low and behold, my Dr. suggested going to another pharmacy that's still a Rite Aid to get the prescription filled with the pills I have been taking all along, and it worked. How dare a pharmacist lie to anyone like this, it's so uncalled for!
