INCOME TAX FRAUD

I don't have a bank account because I prefer not to have one. Well I have used net spend prepaid cards before and they customer service was okay and the card was okay. This year I went with Walmart money card,the blue one and at the store it was $1.88 and I,loaded cash on it the day. Came home set the card up so have one come in the mail with my name printed on it. Got the signature card and call,my balance told me the amount I uploaded a week ago so I'm thinking"ok cool card"!! Well not true they told me I can get my federal taxes direct deposit on my card,fast,quick and hassle free. So I did!!!! I made the worst mistake ever,my money was deposit on my card February 6,2015 I called my card,it told me my balance. Few hours later I leave the house to go pay bills,and card is decline. I rush to my car and call the customer service # and they had me waiting for 45 minutes. Once they did answer I explain what's the problem and please tell me where my money? She told me they put a block on my card and I have to fax r go online at WalMart money card.com/verify. Once they receive my I.d in a form of a driver license r passport it will take 10 business days to release my funds. They attitude was not pleasant and business related. I feel its a huge fraud and that the bank does this too alot of ppl. I feel they are using our funds to set in the bank to get interest off it then release what's owe to you. I'M SORRY BUT PLEASE THINK TWICE ABOUT THIS CARD BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT. THANKS!!!!!

Not a complaint

Hey, this is a prepaid card. You are not going to get the same service you would get with a bank. Be happy someone was willing to give your no-credit having ass a card to swipe.

my name is christopher avery and somebody has been calling doing dispute and when i call in to say take the money back off they told me no on aug.21,2014 they tried to get off $22.50 off my card but they couldnt do it and on aug.30,2014 they tried to get $120.00 off but it was declined and on aug.9,2014 they tried to get $20.00 off but it had insufficeient funds.and these the two numbers they was given when they was doing dispute 252-288-1663 and 252-229-2032 these are not my numbers i dont even have no cellphone but these the disputes that i did i have three that was done on july1,2014 the first one is for $60.34 that was done at foodlion the second one is for $17.08 that was done at papa johns 01298 the third one was $5.75 that one was done at dunkin 346900 and i have one for sept.19,2014 $5.34 this was done at kfc on sept.19,2014 $48.64 was done at vesta att and i dont even have a phone with them on aug.10,2014 $8.01 was done at new chinese food take and on aug.13,2014 $6.92 was done at burger king #9152 q07 and on aug.23,2014 $8.54 was done at little caesars 1284 00 and when i call to do these dispute they told me no and close the case now my card ending in 5538 has a neg of 44 dollars on it you can send me a email at [email protected] and this is my card number 5448569000605538

cannot get my refund back

To whom it may concern:
My boyfriend and I made a reservation on Hotel.Com June 19TH.
we showed up to the hotel and were informed that we wouldn't be able to check into the hotel until 3 PM. We needed to check in right then so the Hotels receptionist informed us that we should be able to cancel our reservation and book at the desk. We called a Hotel.com and they gladly refunded us the money. Mind you this was only 20 minutes after we made the purchase. We called Walmart Money Card Customer Service. We explained our situation to the lady helping us and explained to her that was the last of our money and that we needed the hotel because we were in a town where we knew no one and we needed that money yo get the hotel. She informed us that it would take 2 days to get back on our card but proceeded to become very rude and ask us personal questions. When we asked to speak with a supervisor she argued with us and would not let us speak with one and hung ip on multiple times. We finally gave up and called a few hours later and explained to the guy whom answered that we would like to speak with a supervisor because we had a complaint and explained to him how the lady was rude. He then tells us he agreees with how she acted towards us. Last time I checked we are the customers and should be treated with respect!!! We also fi found out she lied to us. It wouldn't take 2 days for the money yo be on our card, it would take 10 DAYS!!! They also told us that Hotel.com had a hold on the funds and that's why it's takimg so long. We then called them and they informed us they have released the funds the day we canceled and sent us a confirmation that they had released it. So we go to call Walmart Card and customer service is closed when on the back of the card it says open 24 hours once again Walmart Money Card had lied to us. I understand it taking 3-5 days for the money to be put on the card but 10 days is absolutely ridiculous. And the way we we're treated was awful.. If anyone is thinking of purchasing a card from them I highly recommend that you do not. The customer service members are absolutely horrid and they will mess with your money.

Poor Customer Service

I will, if I ever get my new card close it out immediately and I will go on every website I can find and tell about the worst customer service I have ever gotten.
I called to change my address twice was told "oh no problem" it is done, never got my new card. I was "guaranteed I would get it a week before it expired". I didn't get it and my address wasn't changed
It was sent to old address. I was told the system didn't take PO boxes that were letters and not numbers, even through the Federal Government sends me information here/ Then I talked to Thomas on 4/30/2014 and he said he would send me out a card via fed ex, 2 to three business days no charge to me because of all the trouble I had.

Never showed. When I called back I was told it wasn't sent out even through Thomas # 27177 guaranteed me this would be done. So after talking to several more inept people who told me no it would be 7-10 days..at the last minute more frustrated than I ever have been at a lack of any type of customer service, I said well let me check what address you have again because Thomas said he changed it..The address Roland # 24815 gave to me was a Restaurant down the street, Well, I was told that your system did not accept my address ..so what happened? It just picked an address up here? Finally I had everything but my time of birth verified by A Valerie # 1712.. So now I wait for access of my Money after dealing for 1 month with a Ship of Fools...and if I had not asked for the address repeated back to me and realized it was still wrong..I would have still not have any chance of getting my card. I was told I could go get another Wal-Mart card and they could transfer my money to me..I live over 60 miles to the nearest Wal-Mart..and it would cost me money to do this. I will if I ever get this card..Clean it out, cancel it, tear it up and always going forward to tell people they can get a similar card at US Bank with lower or no fees and good customer service.
And now until an actual card arrives in 7-10 days I do not have access to my money and I am retired! On a fixed income!
It was like being in a circle in Hell talking to these people) One thing they ( customer disservice people) are really good at is saying over and over again, I am so sorry for your trouble...yeah right.MM
Oh and I do have a regular checking account at a live bank

MY FUNDS CANNOT BE ACCESSED

I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE ON APRIL 20, 2014 FOR A NEW CARD TO BE SENT TO MY ADDRESS, EXPRESS SHIP. I WAS WILLING TO PAY $20 FOR FED EX EXPRESS BECAUSE, I HAD A VERY IMPORTMENT APPOINTMENT ON FRIDAY, APRIL 25TH. I INFORMED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE OF THIS APPOINTMENT AND THEY ASSURED ME I WOULD RECEIVE MY CARD ON TIME. I RECEIVED MY CARD ON THURSDAY, APRIL 24TH AT 5:11PM. I ATTEMPTED TO ACTIVATE THE NEW CARD AND THE AUTOMATED SYSTEM SAID, " THIS CARD NUMBER COULD NOT BE FOUND IN THE SYSTEM." I WAITED UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING OF APRIL 25, 2014 TO PERSONALLY SPEAK WITH A REPRESENTATIVE TO HANDLE THE ISSUE. THE REP TOLD ME THAT THE CARD SENT TO ME WAS INCORRECT AND COULDN'T BE RECOGNIZED BY THE SYSTEM, BUT THE CARD WAS SENT TO ME BY WALMART WITH MY NAME ON IT IN PLACE OF MY LOST CARD. I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO EXPLAIN TO EVERY SINGLE REPRESENTATIVE I HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO THAT I CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER DAY TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS MY FUNDS. IT IS NOT MY PROBLEM THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SENT THE WRONG CARD TO ME VIA FED EX AND THIS IS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS NOT BEING UNDERSTANDING OF THE SITUATION. I HAVE A FAMILY EMERGENCY THAT NEEDED TO BE HANDLED TODAY AND WALMART MONEYCARD IS PREVENTING ME FROM TAKING CARE OF IT. I AM EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED, UPSET, AND ANNOYED. I WILL NOT ONLY BE FILING A COMPLAINT, BUT I HAVE CALLED TO HAVE AN ATTORNEY REPRESENT ME IN THIS CASE. WALMART MONEYCARD HAS TAKEN HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FROM ME DUE TO AN ERROR ON THEIR PART AND I WILL NOW TAKE MATTERS INTO MY OWN HANDS!!!!!!!!!!

locking my online account making it inaccessible for 24hours without me logging into my account

The online account is supposed to be quicker and easier to access your account,but why do the lock your account without notification making it impossible to access your account.I understand some precautions have to be taken because of identity theft.I haven't logged in to my account in weeks,but I expect to be able to access my account online without being stone walled by this so called protection mechanism,And why is it my direct deposit comes a day early but I can't access my funds til the day of but it always says it was deposited the day before B.S.

on dec 07 2013 i used my walmart visa card to pay for two Barry Sanders jerseys from www.jerseyworldusa.com this company took my money $94 but never followed threw with the agreed upon terms . i get no replys from multiple emails i have sent them either wanting the jerseys sent to me or my money back. i truely believe this buisness is running a scam. please help me out any way possable. im at my wits end. thanks, Terry D. Cannot Access Money

Worst Customer Service Experiance Ever...

I get my paycheck direct deposited to my Wal-Mart Money card every Friday for the past year. My card expired 03/2011, so in February I called to see when to expect my renewal card. I was advised in mid March. I just wanted to make sure I had it before the expiration date of course. I checked back with customer service about 10 days prior to the end of the month to see if the cards were mailed out and was advise everything would be fine I would have one by the end of the month. On the 04/01/2011, I still had no card, I called to check on it and they informed I would have no access to my money until they mailed me out a card and it will be 10-14 days before I get my card. Mind you... it’s the first of the month now and I need to pay my RENT. I was unaware if the card is not up to date you cannot even go into the Wal-Mart Money Center and with draw money because your card is expired. I was advised to call back the following day because they could not rush a card when the just mailed one 2 minutes earlier via snail mail. I worked as a Manager for Discover Card for 10 years I don’t ever remember a card taking 14 days to get anywhere. So I ended up having to get a title loan to pay my rent until the following Friday...

Now its Sunday 04/03/11 and I call to get a card overnighted to me, the lady advised me it would be $29 to rush a card to me but I would have it in 1-3 business days. That means by Wednesday 04/06/11 and she advises me because of all the trouble she would not charge me the $29 to get me my "free" renewal card.

So today is 04/06/11 8:30 am PST ...I just called customer service for almost an hour and got Jocelyn I believe her name was badge # 0046. Explained to Jocelyn that I had taken out a tile loan to cover rent and I needed to pay it back by Friday 04/08/11, plus that’s another pay day and it would be nice to be able to buy gas and food with my money since I spent my last $20 on gas this morning.

*** I have worked in the customer service banking industry my entire life, so I remained calm and respectful up to this point***

Jocelyn advised me there was no Fed Ex tracking number and I would not be getting my card today as advised 4days ago. She advised me not to worry that I would have my card by the following Tuesday that it would now take 5 business days from today. I tried to ask her if there was anything she could do to get me access to my 2 paychecks by Friday. She said there was nothing she could do. I would now have no access to 2 pay periods of money. I asked if she could over night me a card and she said no because she would have to cancel the one she just sent and there is a 2 day waiting period before they will send a new card. Again I will not get it by Friday with her explanation.

I advised her what if she did not cancel the card and just over night me a duplicate of the one she was sent out, and hopefully I would get that one by Friday and I would not just have two of the same card eventually. She said that would put my account at risk having two cards out there!!! REALLY????

That was the point of my one and only Curse word used...but I could not hold back any longer, sorry!

I then asked her to put her overwhelming concern for the security of my account aside (I can’t even get the money how is a crook going to get it?)...and asked if my suggestion would work? She advised me, "Yes", but they would have to charge me for the overnight card. In addition I was advised that the first fee was not waived either as advised on Sunday by the rep who said I would have the card today. I then asked if Jocelyn could waive the fee and she said no, why would they waive the fee. I explained, "Why is any of this my fault why would I pay for their mess up?" I ended up having to say just mail the card I will deal with it later. So now it cost me $30 to do the title loan so far if I can pay it back on this Friday and two $30 charges for 2 Fed Ex charges ($90 so far )in which they could not provide me with tracking numbers for.

I then asked Jocelyn if I could have some sort of extension to call back if I have issue and she said "No she did not have a direct line as a manager". HMMM...I said okay, can I get your last name? She said "No"... I asked if they had multiple call centers, she said "Yes", so I asked for her center location to help me narrow my search for her if I had to call back. She said "NO", I probed more then she said "Our Head Quarters is in California"...

When asked do you work in Head Quarters she said "No", finally she said this is the Philippines call center. Didn’t know that was Top Secret, sorry Jocelyn to put you under the gun. I then asked if I could have the full name of her manger or just the first name??? You guessed it, "NO"!

I advised her in all my time calling customer service for any reason or in my career I have ever been denied this simple information.

I will wait and see what happens Friday; I cannot wait for this nightmare to end and to be able to end my business with Wal-Mart. DO NOT PUT YOUR SELF IN THIS POSITION!

Cannot Access Money

My husband is having the exact same issue!!! We have been waiting for 10 business days for his replacement card, so one paycheck is being held hostage by the money card. Luckily...he canceled his direct deposit with payroll! DO NOT GET OR USE THIS CARD EVER!!! Sam Walton must be rolling in his grave over how they have tarnished his brand & his name

Cannot Access Money

Don't blame Walmart, blame two others: yourself for using the card and not a bank, and GE Money Bank who owns and operates the cards. The only thing Walmart has to do with the cards is loading and unloading and the logo on the cards. Just like the KMart ones, the CVS ones, the Walgreens ones etc. The stores do not own them, the bank on the back of the card does.

Next time, get a BANK ACCOUNT and have your paycheck direct deposited there. I have never understood people who have all their money in one spot.
