No one @ gas station @ 4 pm.

I come to this location for kerosene. It is a very busy place because it's located on a corner of a main road in this city. I went to prepay & there's a sign saying will be back in 10 minutes....... I have waited almost 15 & no one but customers keep coming to the doors. It is 4:15 in the afternoon. So I know its not because the store had to go to bamk to get change. Last time I was here I had to go in store 3 different times because of problems with getting pump to come on.
In my opinion this company needs to look @ how this location is being operated.

Horrible Manager!

Store 1879 in Greenville/Falkland has some of the rudest females working there. One of the employees name is Wendy and every time I come in there she is just rude. Never smiles and attitude is just down right disgusting. I hate to even stop there for anything but it's close to my house. If you hate your job that much, quit! The manager Angel is no better. Every one else is always so pleasant!

store never open on time

I frequent this store every day. I stop in the mornings and when I get there at 6:35am, 3 days out of 5 they are not open. I ask about take they say they were having computer problems, but I know for a fact that they are just late getting there. Part the time they don't have all their gas pumps working.
The new manager is not doing her job. Something needs to be done.

Thanks a disgruntled customer.

Texting cashier

I was in kinston store on 11/55about 7pm there was two cashiers one was helping a customer and the other cashier was just texting on her phone. She didn't stop her texting to help me the other cashier finished with her customer and then she waited on me and the other cashier just kept on texting. A few times I gave been in there the bathrooms were messy. And I also noticed when I was in there that the one cashier had a long line and the other cashier would go outside to smoke and would not help the other cashier she would not even stop what she was doing to help out.

service refused by cashier with comments

I was in store 750 at 1:07:31 with the associate Denise S. She first walked away from the counter nothing said.then came back and just started ringing me up.I told the young girl I wanted 2 cans of all extra PC my and she didn't listen to me so I repeated to it again. She rang me up and said I didn't say the flavor. Then walked over to the other register and said next customer I am not waiting on her she has a nasty attitude. I am in the store almost everyday and if I am not my husband is. Apparently my business is not any good. I worked with the public and I have dealt with difficult customers but I have never refused service. Customers apperantly are not important and the store don't need all customers.

employee gave my wife and i a middle finger

I am a local truck driver living in Hopewell, Virginia. The only difference in an over-the-road driver and myself is that the over-the-road driver is not in one place all the time but I am. We both follow the same DOT rules for driving and working. We can drive no more than11 hours in a 14 hour day. This is what i do on a local level. Yesterday, when i got back to the wilco truck stop in Disputanta, Virginia where i park my tractor overnight. One of the mangers saw me going to my car. He came over and told me i can't park my car on the lot during the day. I explained i was a local truck driver and i park my tractor here over nite. I buy my fuel here and it is convenient for me. He then said i can't park my tractor here overnight either unless I'm in it. I have been parking there for over a year. Last year i spent over $25, 000 in fuel at this wilco truck stop, not to mention i by coffee everyday, oil, and other fluid, I just purchase my second blue tooth in there on Saturday. And i don't bother anyone. I don't have any problem not parking there. I went across the street and asked East Coast if i could park there if i bought my fuel there. They said yes. So, tomorrow i will move my tractor and car across the street to East Coast. However, the thing that bother me the most is that i know i was singled out because of the color of my skin. There are so many other local drivers that park at wilco, so why am i being single out? When i ask the manager about the other local drivers, he said they will be told as well. Why not tell them first or post a sign out where everyone can see?

SICK OF LIES

I have been with Wilco since i was 19 yrs old off and on i am now almost 40 , While employed here i have had a few ups and downs in my life 4yrs ago i had a massive heart attach while i was 7 mths preg. on the job mind you now i had been working 40 to 50 hrs a week covering for a manager that didn't like coming in on time so with me being shift leader i was told it was my job , i feel out that day in the parking lot rescue came and before they could get me air lifted out my manager had called home office and i was let go nice of them huh well when i got out of the hosp. i went to my DM that had no clue what had happend he was told that i quite . He was highly up set about what had happened he sent out a memo telling everyone what happened to me and i got my job back so then around a month later i had to got out of work to have my son and boom they done it again after being promised that i would have my job waiting on me when i came back LIE LIE LIE so i didn't even bother with it anymore i then knew this company wasn't for me .I then moved to another town wasn't looking for a job was staying home with my son i was going to the wilco in town got to talking to the manager their and she begged me to come and work for her she was a good person and a big loss to this store but she wanted to work else where so they put another person in her spot which was doing a great job he then out of the blue got demoted then the DM child hood friend and close friend now took his spot everyday i had to her this guy say f this store i don't want to work here i quite we told the DM over and over he would not listen to us then i get a phone call telling me to meet the manager in the parking lot i got their he hands me the keys to the store and drives off that was almost 7 mths ago and i still have the keys to this store i was promised the asst. position i have been doing everything that the job calls for i open every weekend even cover the manager when she is out or in meetings i do all paper work and handle deposits everything that was asked to do then i go in today to be told that i wasn't getting the job that Debbie the Rm didn't wont me to have it . no reason why and make things worse they picked another cashier that has been their only 6 mths i have been their a year plus i have bent over backwards to get our store back in shape also promised this job by RM and DM also told that i was going to be going to training soon i mean why do we get treated like this dose the CEO know whats really going on in the stores and how employees are getting picked on and lied to just to keep the spot filled till they decide to laugh in your face and tell you they change their minds to me this was a hit in the teeth i feel i have worked very hard to get to were i am i shouldn't get what i was promised
Also about this open door policy wilco suppose to have how dose it work i have tried calling a few people on this list and no one responds all i get is the DM calling me back with a bad attitude how is that going to help me when you want to talk to some one higher this in why a lot of your employees don't call for help when we need it who is here for us the little guys the employees the one that truly brings in the money and brings the customers back daily WERE IS OUR HELP WHEN WE NEED IT why is it OK for them to treat us like we are nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

employee gave my wife and i a middle finger

I was actually looking for a phone number when I found this page. I must say I hate to hear some of you had such a terrible visit at some of the stations, I have a wilco that I frequent when I work at Vidant in Greenville, (its a smaller store and is actually in front of a fairly rough neighborhood) and I have a completely different experience. The manager goes out of her way to try to help out even when the customers are wrong. Yes, that happens too. When I was getting my undergrad I actually worked at a gas station, anyone who has or who has worked with the public period will tell you it can be very stressful. I visit a few others wilcos when I travel to different hospitals, and most are pretty good.
s, you shouldn't judge someone based on where they work, in case you haven't noticed there are a lot of over qualified people working at places that you may not consider important,

Sorry, my phone went a little haywire. The last part was in response to the "waste of a life" observation.

employee gave my wife and i a middle finger

I wish Hess Corporation would investigate some of the orders managers/regional managers are handing the employees in Massachusetts this week. From 3 to 7pm employees are told to stand outside handing out fliers for free water when an item in the store is purchased. These fliers are on the pumps and on the windows, so why have the employees stand outside in the cold? They are going to get sick with colds, the flu that's going around, could get frostbite, all sorts of issues arrive from this inane gimmick to get customers inside of the stores. Plus shouldn't the employees be provided some sort of reflectors so drivers can see them in the parking lot?? Once the sun goes down the temperature drops to under 30 degrees F. This violates OSHA laws does it not?
