Contract Termination

I paid a large amount up front several years ago and had a $100 a year renewal fee. Not only did they raise the rate to $149, I didn't receive notice of the rate change nor a statement informing me the bill was due. The customer service rep was rude and did nothing for the customer, telling me the statement was a courtesy, but it was my responsibility to know when the bill was due. I told her it was due once a year, so of course I would forget; however, every company sends out bills that is customary, not a courtesy!!! My bill was due 10/28/15 and they terminated the contract on 11/12/15. I called to pay on 11/16/15 and they would not reinstate the contract.
