Exactly a week ago we made a large purchase of 599.99 plus tax at our local SAM's Club. We purchased a Serta 12 inch King Size Memory Foam Bed in a box. Just this Saturday our close friend made the same exact purchase at a different SAM's and paid $474.91 plus tax. With the drastic price difference we contacted the 1-800# for SAM's Club and were told that we had a 7 day time frame and that we could go to our SAMS and receive the difference. With that news we were excited, so before driving an hour to our local SAM's club we decided to call them and make sure someone would be able to help us and let them know we would be in route to their store. When I contacted the store, not once but three separate times because I was listening to the other end constantly ring with no one picking up. They representative that answered the phone finally decided to help me after I told her that no one is answering at the other lines they keep sending me too. She went to check the price and came back to let me know that their price was still 599.99 and they would not honor any other prices from other stores or online. I am not sure how it works but I would think that if it is on sale at one Sam's Club it should be at another since they are all the same company. It was frustrating to find out that another Sam's club within about the same distance carried the same exact bed but for a drastic difference in price. I wouldn't be so upset if the price was a few dollars different but it was almost 125.00 different. To our family that could be helpful in other ways. I attached a picture of our receipt and the price from the other Sam's with the sale price.
