It used to be that the History channel had wonderful shows about history. Then they started showing all WWII history shows. Next they had H2 which showed various history shows while the History channel began showing things like Pawn Stars, etc. Now the History 2 channel seems to be fading out the history shows.

Shouldn't History channels show stories about history, including the biographies of those who made history? I have become very disappointed with these two channels, plus there isn't a really good site to go to which gives a good schedule, including what the show is about. You used to have a History channel TV guide. I've miss that.

As long as I am on a roll, I miss the biography magazine, too. I still have my old copies.

Obviously alot of viewers agree that viceland needs to go, shows like "flophouse", "f*ck, that's delicious", and "gaycation" are totally inappropriate. History channel at least needs to live up to their promise of having our favorite shows from H2 on the history channel. I really hope, just like a lot of other people hope, that you bring back H2!!!! :(

Please bring back H2! I always watch it! Ancient Aliens, America unearthed, Oak Island, Ufo Files, etc.
I watched Vice, it sucked! Why Why?. Please bring back the Great shows! So many to watch and so much to learn!

I cannot believe my eyes and what is now being offered on this ludicrous channel you now call Viceland. I am a 45 year old viewer, like to think I am opened minded, yet the programs I have glimpsed through this past week are untasteful and unnecessary to even have on a package I pay good money for through my provider. Our family thoroughly enjoyed watching H2. Now we cannot or dare not watch Viceland as a family because many of the shows are inappropriate for the viewers who are not adults. Even the History channel is ridiculous and we never watched it, because we had H2. Even though there was warning this was happening, we were told our favorite shows from H2 would be on History, and I have yet to see anything on the programming, and the one series I did find was on during the weekday mornings, when we are not home. I really wish H2 would consume another channel if Viceland has to stick around for contractual reasons. I know it is only my opinion, and that of my spouse, yet from what I have heard from many others, it is not a favorable channel. Perhaps it was a poor decision on A & E’s part to make such a change, and perhaps they can change it back. In the mean time we have blocked this channel, as well as the History channel because we really do not care to watch Swamp People or Ax Men or any of those other senseless shows. If there was a way for viewers, who pay good money for certain programs to vote on such programming topics before the change happens-this would maybe have been flushed before happening. Thank you for your time and please note this is only the opinion of one household and we do not mean to offend others who actually may enjoy such shows that are now being shown on Viceland. Keep in mind it did offend us, and we have now blocked the channel.

Disappointed Viewers

Viceland replacing H2 is a loss I am still in the middle of dealing with.. On a day I should b watching a quality semi-educational tv program on h2, I am typing this complaint instead. Viceland programming on now is Fitzcarraldo 1982 ; a guy who hauls a riverboat through Amazon in a quest for an opera, with sub-titles and all !! Who wants to watch this & who will watch this? Was there to much money being made from cooperate sponsors & had to reduce number of viewers in quest of losing money? I'm 35 & viceland does not appeal to me.. Bring back H2, please!!!
