Cheque Status
I received a call from "ABSA" saying that I qualify to upgrade my cheque account from silwer to gold.
I said I am already on the gold status and they argued with me that I am not and are on the silver.
The worst part is this person had all my details. She told me my ID, Account Number.
I then put the phoned down. Phone that number back 011 011 26003 not working.
I phoned the ABSA immediately to confirm if someone from ABSA phoned and did any changes on my account.
They said no. Everything is the same. I then phoned the Fraud department, put my account on hold.
The real question here is, how did this lady know my account number with ABSA and my ID?
Is this a inside job?
