I was just treated so poorly by a customer service representative for this company. I simply did not want to sign up for their service. I wanted to only activate my Academy credit card. Then the lady on the phone proceeded to talk to me as if I were the rude one and as if I were a child. It was extremely degrading and completely unprofessional. I would love to take steps to prevent this lady from treating anyone else like she treated me just now. Any ideas?

account charges while in dispute
I initially opened an account with One Stop Plus in Feb 2014, and then I remember somewhere seeing an offer to get shipping for $3.99 on every order, for one time fee of $19.00. Next thing I know I recieved another OSP card, and wondering why I have two accounts. Needless to say, I called customer service and they confirmed that I in fact have two accounts open. I told them to please cancel the Assure account, because I didn't want two. I was assured it would be taken care of.....and it was not.
Putting that aside, I had placed my first order on the 925 ending acct. #, and ended up sending all merchandise back, and was still being charged for whatever, and that kept building up while I was disputing back and forth with them and not one person I dealt with was able to handle such a small issue. What I saw was this issue was not corrected, as I was told it would be...."No problem Ms. Tracy, we will take care of this for you ". And was told it would be sent to Dispute, and I will be getting a letter from them.
Before I recieved the letter I recieved another statement with more late fee charges, so I called again and spoke with a gal named Courtney. She explained everything to me....said not to worry about those charges and explained to me that the remaining charges I owed were for the shipping. Why is it that no one else could explain that one simple thing.
Bottom line...I recieved the letter stating the balance I owed $15.49, which I gladly paid on 7-22-14.
She also explained to me that the $19.00 on account assure was for the one time membership fee, for less shipping etc. which I will be glad to pay, although throughout all this hassle and confusion and being in dispute, I am being billed for late fees, which now stands at $71.27. I was told not to worry about the late fee charges because it was in dispute.
So with all that has happened, I am willing to give this one more chance. If another negative issue occurs I will close the account permanently. I will pay the initial fee of $19.00 only.
