Ace Translator does not translate accurately

I installed Ace Translator for a trial. What a disaster of a translation I got. This software is a total scam. I makes so many mistakes when translating that you have to make corrections on more than 60% of the text. This seller is scamming and committing fraud and on top of that he is making his program install hacking software to steal information from computers. This person has to be denounced to the authorities and forced to stop selling this software.

ACE Translator SCAM

This seller is scamming and committing fraud and on top of that he is making his program install hacking software to steal information from computers. If he doesn't stop offering this program on his website, I will certainly do whatever it takes to make him stop.

dissatisfaction

Attention of buyers & users. First of all, I have bought the program. However
in the new year when the pro has updated and did not work. I sent an e-mail to
seller but dan wanted to pay back again. Most importantly, it is the pro is
install like a worm & virüs that is send your mail adress to dan (i.e. seller).
So, pro is dangerous for this reason whether you want to buy do not buy. Now I
uninstalled the pro despite the pay. :(

Ace Tools / Ace Translator

I downloaded this program which came with a text file and a code to enter to run the program. I strongly suspect this fraudster, Dan or Mike Smith, posted this program around the internet simply so he/they could scam people. When I got the email from him, I paid up the sum of £115GBP. Not being very young any more and on heavy medication for back pain, that's what I would like to blame, but next morning, after searching the internet for information on this scammer, I realise I had just been foolish in paying him and should have done some research first.

I still haven't figured out how the program found my email address as I use a portable version of Thunderbird which is not kept on the C: drive.

Paypal don't seem to be interested in helping me get my money back.

Ace Tools / Ace Translator

I too received the threatening email (actually I received 3 of them).

I am a software developer, so I wanted to see if I could figure out how
they got my email address(es).
So I wrote a simple program to extract this info from the Registry.
Simple.
Done.
In my case I use MS Outlook.
I have 4 accounts in my Outlook. They sent an email to the first three.
Obviously they have logic in their program to do this very same thing.
(extract Outlook email info, and pass it back to the developer site).

So here's my thoughts....
They build the program with this logic inside it.
THEY provide the readme file with the instructions of how to
use one of the provided registration keys.
You download and run the program.
You use the readme file to get the id and one of the keys.
You enter that into the program to "register" it.
Bang... they now have your email account addresses and the key you used.
You now get the threatening email.

In my opinion they are attempting to defraud you (and me),
and they have extracted email account data from your computer (this is ILLEGAL),
and have now passed that on to ??????

i also receive first email of ace tools then i reply wat is procedure so please any one tell me what i do now?

Removing it doesn't fix the your law violation.

You entered a pirate license to illegally unlock the software into full
version. This had already violated the copyright law. You must buy a
legitimate license to correct the copyright violation.

Please visit this link to acquire a legitimate license:
http://AceTools.biz/purchase.html?pp=4

We give you a last chance to correct your copyright violation in an
inexpensive way. If we have to start legal proceedings, your expense will be
huge.

If no legitimate license is acquired, our lawyers in India will sue you for

violating copyright laws and software theft.

All lawyer fees (plus heavy copyright violation fines) will be paid by you.

PC Hacking & Threatning Emails

I'm from Brazil and I also received this threat Sr.Dan I had downloaded the software for testing because its description was attracted to me and after a day's installed on my machine I get this email saying I would be sued if I did not pay 69.99 EURO ie if I did not pay he would sue me and I would have to pay $ 200, 000 is absurd because I myself have seen that the software is garbage and most of all he was the first to break the law for invading my privacy and above all he got not only my email plus all of my network ... is absurd that the people would not do for money ... I hope that this individual should be punished because I was in a state concern for what happened because I sue on $ 200, 000 is something very stupid that I have just installed the software end of the world ... is even seen. I hope we can join this community and give an order in AceTools ... Thank you also to staff exporam their problems and so now I can be more relaxed ... I forgot also to the process here in Brazil is very difficult equal to that in the case even more than Germany ... AceTools is still more to be frightened.

Thank you.

PC Hacking & Threatning Emails

I was actually totally shocked to receive this initial e-mail... I immediately realised that there is no way that any of this could be legal and HACKING must be involved!!

What I really do NOT understand is, how is this company/Website/SCAM still in existance?
