PAID twice
March 2017.
Booked on internet with Agoda card info' taken.
Several days later at hotel found that it was booking . com and not Agoda.
I had to pay.
I informed the hotel and showed them the print out from the Agoda email which included in the remarks that I'd check in at 23.00 and check out at 23.00 the next night - I'd made a 24 hr check in/out booking which I believed I'd paid for. The hotel said it was not confirmed. They said the following day the hotel was full.
It was 02.00 in the morning for me, I was tired. The hotel 24 hr check in/out was so there'd be no hassle and I could rest and exercise prior to the next plane ride.
It was hassle.
The next morning I had to pay for another night, the manager found I could stay.
Complained to Agoda - they have asked for information such as bank account statements and have not accepted copies of the card chits - it seems they have not contacted the hotel.
Agoda you may have gained 20 to 30% of £100, of the future you have lost 20 to 30% of 10 years of hotel bookings from me.
Is it a con', who's doing the con' the hotel or the hotel and Agoda or is it just Agoda?
