Not honor price guarantee policy using unfair rule
I booked a room through Agoda and a few days later (logging in with the same account) found that the same booking (same room, hotel, date) price drops. I submitted a price guarantee claim but the response was “the current price is lower because it is a promotional price, your price is not promotional price”. So basically, Agoda is saying that they can run a promotion to lower price anytime they want and not take responsibility to those that book through their own website (Agoda) earlier at a higher price!

Payment made thru Credit card BUT no response

Booking at Mahkota Hotel malacca, payment made thru credit card BUT no response.
Upon chercked in on 26th December 2019, the hotel reception tola me that my booing was for 26th Jan 2020.
In this instant, I would like to ask for a refund'

Hotel booking
I made a booking at hotel at $49 per night including breakfast and was charged $62 per night on credit card and hotel said breakfast was not included. Total misrepresentation and nil customer service. I will never use Agoda again and will actively dissuade anyone I speak to regarding their fraud.

Misrepresentation
I booked a hotel at$49 per night and was charged against my credit card$62 per night and was quoted breakfast when I made booking but this was not made available by hotel. Agoda misrepresented the booking I made on their web site. I will never use then again. The also have nil customer service.

Hotel Reservation
Hi Everyone,
I was on a visit to Bangkok and decided to spend time at Thailand Islands (Krabi etc.). I booked my hotel at Krabi throughout agoda mobile app for two days (1-3 April 2018) at Golden Beach Resort and at Sunrise resort at Railay Island (3-4 April 2018). My flight was scheduled from Bangkok to Krabi at 10:10 pm on 1 April 2018, which was delayed for 20 minutes. Bother the hotels we’re booked and Ali got the confirmation after submitting some documents which they required for verification.
At Bangkok Airport, I received an email that your hotel at Railay (Sunrise Resort) has been cancelled due to technical reasons (9:58 pm on 1st April 2018), when I was about to board the aircraft. I called the support centre and after 15 minutes of nonsense, they had no reasons for cancellations except technical. They were unable to put me through with their Supervisor also.
To my surprise, once I landed at Golden Beach resort at 1:00 am, I was told that there is no such booking with my name. I was calling Agoda and receptionist was calling his Manager. Agoda was giving the view that the process was not complete as documents from my side were not submitted, but it was as submitted by me personally. The Manager of the hotel was telling me, no room. So you need to have room from hotel side and pay Thai Bhat 9000/night. Now the time is 1:40 am, and I am with my family. After negotiating the price, it was done for a night Ather Bhat 5000 ( CAD 212.78). A very important point to note is that my Canadian bank had already given the authorization of CAD 149 and 86 for both bookings. And and this was the actual cost of early booking for three nights. I rushed to my room at 2:00 am and after breakfast was again on the reception to sort out the second night booking. The hotel was asking Thai Bhat 4000 for a Deluxe room and AJ searches on Agoda again, it was showing CAD 116 for a night. To cut it short my three days vacation became hell due to AGODA AND ITS PROCEDURE AND I HAD TO PAY extra CAD 154. It’s a long story and I should cut it short.
AGODA IS THE MOST UNRELIABLE WEB TO PURCHASE ANYTHING. It looks to me it’s an scam organized by service providers and AGODA. This is my first and last booking with them. That need to refund my money of booking the first night at Golden Brach resort : Thai Bhat 5000. I have all the evidences with bank statements, emails and snap shots.
Please please avoid them or else you will regret.

Agoda is thief
I have cancelled a booking with agoda and they refunded me the money as a gift card but when I emailed that I can't find any gift card and it's empty and there is no funds on my account so they stopped replying me.
I never thought that agoda would turn out to be thieves.
That's a big shame!!!!
