Suddenly I've got email of Agoda confirmation for hotel has been booked through my Agoda account. and after that I checked my account and saw there was really booking made from my Agoda Account. And that was at night around 10pm, this was really scared me...

This was a non-refundable booking and I can't cancel the booking. Booking was made from one of my saved credit card in Agoda account. I have captured all of those, which I might use for confirmation with Agoda.

I try to contact Agoda and told them about my case but they told me they can't cancel the booking. They are going to charge me USD1,100.

Just sharing this case for awareness that be REALLY careful to put and save your credit card in your Agoda account.

Wrong Information Listed on Site

Be careful with the "secret deals" in Agoda. I just made a booking for a supposedly 4-star hotel as stated in the description. After I received the hotel name post booking, I was shocked at what I was being offered (did not look like a 4 star hotel at all). After some checking, it turns out the hotel is a 3-star hotel (according to Booking.com, Ctrip, Hotels.com, Tripadvisor). I feel scammed making a booking under false pretense.

Not only did the customer service not apologise for the incorrect information, they justify it by the fact that ratings on their site are purely based on supplier's submission and not independently verifiedbu Agoda. (Reply below)

From now on, it will hard for me to trust and rely on the hotel information listed on Agoda. SHOCKING

Made a booking - fraudulent site

I made a booking for 1 room and received a notice that they booked me for 2. Then I tried to go on the website and before i know it, they cancelled both and charged me. I hate them! Pls can you ask them to call me +85293849580.

Made a booking - fraudulent site

I too made a hotel booking through Agoda (in Maldives) for 2 nights. After payment via credit card was confirmed and a message stated that I would receive an email within 30mins with booking confirmation and hotel voucher, I have not heard from them since. My card has been debited US$153.00 and although I have a customer number taken down from their last "Thank you for payment" message, they have not bothered to reply my online complaints. I note that Agoda claims to be company registered in Singapore - and I am a Singapore Permanent Resident. I will be writing to the Consumer Affairs Authority for them to take action!
