Horrible customer care service!

I am having your Airtel prepaid connection and i want to register for GPRS services. I am calling since two days but your Customer Care IVR is not connecting me to your representative. The moment i press 9 to speak to your executive, the call got disconnect and it came as Thank You For Calling Airte.
Need the revert on priority.

High unbilled amount

I have an Airtel postpaid connection in the name of Sridhar Balasubramanian. I had sent a mail regarding my unbilled amount to Airtel, for which I have got no response. I have taken Ambuja 249 plan. My number is activated from November 3, 2006 and the unbilled amount till November 10, 2006 was Rs. 37.80, seeing which I was shocked, because I have not made any calls for that amount. I was told by Mr. Sheik Javed, agent of Airtel, from whom I got the connection, that all local calls to any mobile would cost me 30p per minute and local calls to landline will cost 80p per minute, first 125 minutes of STD will be charged at 50p per minute, and 125 SMS (local and national) free for each month. It is impossible with this plan to get such an unbilled amount. I had sent mail to Airtel on Friday regarding the same and till today, there is no response for my complaint. I checked my unbilled amount again today and it shows it is Rs. 45.65. For your information, to check the reliability, I HAVE NOT MADE ANY CALLS from Friday. I wonder how this could happen. Do you people charge for incoming calls also? Do you people charge for not using the connection also? Do you people charge for calling 121 or messaging 121?????This is ridiculous, unbelievable, pathetic. I would like to hear an early response from you. After considering all other mobile connections, I decided to go with Airtel for the service they provide. But now, I am in a thought that I made a wrong decision. As a business person, I have got many other important works and I cannot go on complaining again and again for this. I want to know the exact billing amount now. If at all I have made calls for that amount, I want to know all the numbers I have called with their respective call duration and call charges. I would like an earliest reply. I wish you understand the situation and address my grievance swiftly.

Please let me know if any clarifications are required in this regard.

Horrible customer care service!

i am shiv prasad tiwari, my mob..09755453249 i have taken plan 0.50 RS for LOCAL, STD, SMS, LAND LINE since 24 jan 2011 and plan validity last date 24 jan 2012..but yestrday my plan suddenly change my call rate going up..local 0.60 RS. SMS 1 Rs..STD SMS 1.50 Rs..
If my plan vailidity due date 24 jan 2012 then why change my plan..
I request to you pl give me proper solution othervise i will go upbhogta foram..
I HOPE U TAKE ACTION RIGHT DIRECTION..

Horrible customer care service!

you will continue to have the horrible experience as they just do not care, all customer service statemets are bullshit, i had been number of times had been committed 4 mbps broadband both verbally and in writing after doing all the physical checks and then nothing is done. This too happened from Mr Mittal's office so to say, but unfortunately we do not have a choice as I guess others are also no better and then we have the problem of changing numbers, this what they play to blackmail. If Airtel is reading then number in question is 0124 4143952, my contact at Airtel office had been Prashant vasishta who has stopped picking up phone now, thank you, Sandeep Goyal

Horrible customer care service!

I possess a prepaid connection taken on my mother's name. I have been using it for the past two year. I had subscribed for hello tunes and picture messages. About three months ago I had unsubscribed for picture messages. Then about 25 days back i started getting the picture messages again.

I tired contacting 121 their customer care number but no response as it is automated and takes too much of time. I called a post paid customer care executive who was not helpful either and only told me to get back to 121. On the third inquiry with the post paid customer care executive i was given a number 98400 98400 which no one was picking up. After searching on the internet. I got a toll free number 600 600 for problems related to recharge of prepaid an amount of six bucks was deducted from my prepaid account. I then searched for the email id which was [email protected]

I sent them a mail with my grievance and asked them to return my cash which was deducted from my prepaid amount as well return the other amount for prepaid messages as I had unsubscribed for the picture messages and without my assent they had started sending it again. The amount available on my card is over. But the irony is that i do not receive any picture messages and am having a negative balance -16.73 which keeps increasing by 1 daily.

So much for automated systems and so much for customer care. I guess if i recharge i will lose the entire amount only on the negative balance which I do not understand for what it is being deducted.

Horrible customer care service!

I had horrible experience with Airtel prepaid service. Was being charged for value added services without my knowledge or request. The cell companies are showing book losses & commenting that they are bleeding becoz of the excess competition. its only partial truth. actually its the customers who are facing the bleeding on account of unknown charges. this is simply a robbery where we come to know bout that only later. and for many i guess they are simply ignorant or unaware that these companies are looting us. people should join forum n take initiative to take such casese to consumer forum. hope my views add some value...

Line shifting problem

Dear Complaints Board, we have a total of Six Telephone Lines in the name of SHILPA CHOWDHARY which are as follows: 41653052, 41653053, 41653054, 41653055, 41650036, 41650037
We had given a request 15 days back of phone line shifting from our Safdarjung Office to Okhla Office.
But till date only 41653054 line is shifted to our new address.
We regularly in touch with your following staff :
Mr.VIJAY SINGH : 9818083778
MR. JAI PRAKASH - 9810622080
MR. MANOJ - 9818223760
MR. YUSUF - 9810800538
MR.SAMIN RIZVI - 9810622761

But our problem is still not resolved. Our company is getting a lot of work loss as well as financial loss due to these phone lines.

We are very upset to see the service of Airtel. If our phone line will not be shift till Monday we will surrender these phone and go to some other Service provider.

Line shifting problem

Hi Team,

I have raised a request regarding the shifting of my broadband connection(#4187022) on 19-sep-2011.Still I am not getting any response from your end. I am wondering for a new connection you peoples will provide within 3 days then why for shifting it is taking this much time. I think Airtel is not interested in the existing customers.
Now lot of options are available in the market and some another vendors are providing connection at low cost. The money currently I am paying monthly to Airtel in that rage some another service provider offering me 3 times the speed which I have now but still we are stick with Airtel because as of now I am satisfied with your service and the main thing make me happy is the anytime customer support also but now am very depressed to say that I got some bitter experience from your customer care, they are not at all listening my worries and giving false update for me also. Their behavior looks like if I want I am quit the connection and go for other.
Some of your executive has taken my query for shifting as disconnection request now I am hearing my connection is going to disconnect also.
I am confused what is going behind the background, I don’t have any problem on that I will go for a new service provide available in my area. But I will notice this customer harassment to my Company because it is CUG plan refers from my company. You are aware It will escalate in that level Since I am using that connection for my working from home option. I have told all these things to your executive they will tell sir, tomarrow your connection will get ready I am going to make this request as high priority but nothing happened.
As a customer my problem is genuine my connection need to shift but I am not getting a single call from your end yet now and while I am calling to customer care such type of misleading comments I am getting.
I am requesting the authorize person to check what happened to my request and if it is possible please provide me resolution to my request otherwise please let me know so I can go ahead and select for another vendor connection they can hear my worries. Telling frankly We are not expecting this type of response from Airtel like a big organization, we have a faith on your words please keep it as valuable.I just have a look for the complaint mail id in ‘google’ I can see a bunch of complaints in different sites, please have look on this issues otherwise it will get spoil the name AIRTEL.

Hope I will get a positive reply from your end ASAP .Because I don’t have the patient to wait some more days for an internet connection because now the internet connections are available in the market within hours I want to notice the same to Airtel.
