Didn't get a bill for January
Didn't get my electric bill for January from ambit energy.

I like Ambit Energy
We switched to Ambit Energy and are very happy with the service. We were with TXU. I checked our TXU bill to see what rate we were paying then went to Ambit Energy's customer sign up site http://DKBJR.joinambit.com and checked the rates. I saved 5 cents per kwh by switching to Ambit. They sent us a welcome packet about their travel rewards program and I got a free mini vaca- I think 3 days two nights somewhere.. I haven't read it yet, so not sure where.
I did have a long hold when I called Ambit Energy's customer service today though. They gave me the option of holding my place "in line" and then calling me back, but I just stayed on the line and waited. I think I waited on hold almost 20 minutes before I got a customer service agent on the phone.. It stinks having long hold times, they probably should hire more people to man the phones, but honestly, I get that everywhere. Credit card companies, banks, other utilities and cable companies.. so why would I be mad at Ambit Energy for that? At least when a customer service rep does come on the line it is someone in America and not some outsourced call center in India or somewhere else.
Oh, I chose a 6 month plan with Ambit because that was the lowest rate. I will have to pick a new plan when it expires. The customer service agent said they would send me a reminder letter about a month before my rate plan expires so I can renew it. I asked her the date I needed to renew and wrote it on my calendar anyway. I noticed some people complaining about Ambit's rates jumping up.. I do not see how that is possible when you are contracted on a rate plan. My rate is what I signed up for for 6 months. Then I have to choose a new rate plan. I guess the complainers weren't responsible and didn't renew their plan when they were supposed to? Then blame Ambit?? I do not see how that is Ambit's fault.. They told me when I signed up I would need to renew the plan in 6 months.. Kinda MY responsibility....
Overall I am really happy with Ambit Energy. I wish I could have natural gas service with Ambit too but I guess right now Ambit Energy only offers electricity in Texas. Maybe that will change later on down the road...
I want to try to get the Free energy program with Ambit Energy. TXU offered free nights up to $50 a month.. with Ambit I can earn up to my entire bill(except taxes and stuff) free.. I have to refer people and when I get I think 10 or 15 (not sure how many) family or friends to sign up with Ambit Energy service they average out what everyone's bill is and take that amount off my bill. That is my goal, but we will see.. Even if I don't do that I am still happy with Ambit. Their rates are competitive (even if the rates were the same as the other companies I would probably stay with Ambit). Overall I am a pretty happy customer.

I too am with Ambit Energy and enjoying over an Average of $200 dollars per month takin off my Electric bill every month. Anyone can do this at the beginning. They do give you 4 to 6 mos. to get your free energy. I am a Senior Consultant with Ambit and consider by far this is the best electic providers on Earth Today, Regardless of the Vacation Stays....

Horrible Treatment of customers
This company had my electric payment 6 days prior to shutting my service off. I have been a customer for almost 4 years, all of a sudden I had no electricity and they wanted a deposit. Seriously...

whatever they did with you that's not nice . Because there gol to Payless money if you don't have enough so how you pay . The have to continue your service because you are there old customer . My concern for ambit they have to give minimum 5 month time to make payment as like conedison and not over charg the customer
