I've been having problems with ATT internet service. For the past 6 months, my service hasn't worked consistently. I have periodic errors online. The main error is the "Page Can't Be Displayed" error. I fully checked my computer System for viruses and bugs. Did a Full System Scan for any errors....found nothing. Even my Norton 360 (which has saved me from a number of Trojans and Worms) protects me from accidentally wandering into infected websites. ATT defends itself with the usual, "There's nothing wrong. Everything is fine." Then why does my internet connection act erractically every now and then ? Right now, I live in Fort Pierce, Florida. I've been living here for the past 6 months. Before, I lived in West Palm Beach (Florida) for 15 years. Living in West Palm Beach, I never had any internet problems....especially "Page Can't Be Displayed" errors. I had the SAME computer setup that I have now.......same computer hardware.....same arrangement of hardware....etc...NEVER had a problem with the internet. So I KNOW it's the area in which I live. (I moved out of West Palm Beach because of the problems down there with drugs) Unfortunately, the ONLY other alternative (for an ISP) would be Comcast. I had their service a number of years ago, and the service was worse than ATT !!!! And Verizon doesn't service the area where I live.
