TELEVISION

I purchased a Samsung television in March of 2019. It was a 4K smart with 2160 p. It is now no good anymore because the screen only shows a half of a screen which is a normal picture but the other half is becoming dark. I feel how things happen to my television is because every 2-3 days there is a pop up that says "the signal is lost". This has been going on for at least 7 months. I feel because I had to reboot the problem it caused a strain on the screen for having to reboot it so much. I am still having to reboot my television. I feel I should be compensated somewhat for having to purchase another television. My family and friends have the same television and have had it for 10-12 years and they are still going. A television should last more than 2 1/2 years. Also something needs to be done about "the signal being lost" or it will probably ruin another television for me.

Bait and Switch

To Whom it May Concern,

Where do I begin? I called to set up service with ATT and it took about 4 hours to set up. I was told that I would receive a confirmation email confirming everything promised, which I never recieved. I have been a victim of a bait and switch scam by Att (uverse). When I set up service I was promised a $450 dollar reward card, three months free HBO and Cinemax and services for 119.00 a month. Well, the technician first came out to the billing address (my old address) rather than my correct address and then he could not come to the correct address because it was on the other side of town (keep in mind that I took the day off). Then a directv technician shows up later and says that he cannot provide service because there are too many things blocking the dish. Then I call to reschedule and start over the entire order because the technician cancelled service because he went to the wrong address instead of correcting it. So, I call again, set up the same service with Uverse and again was promised the above mentioned things. They come out the next day to set up service and take about 4 hours to do so (I took another day off to handle this). They leave a line across my entire front yard and did not bury it and drilled a huge hole in the wall without permission to connect a large box. After they leave, I call and have to set up someone to bury the line. They tell me it will take over a month to come out and bury the line which prevents me from having my grass mowed (the line is still not buried, three weeks later). Then I call because they did not give me my premium channels, finally they add them. Then I call yet again because I wanted to confirm that I am in fact getting the reward cards promised. I was disconnected four separate times. I was promised call backs that I never received two separate times. Then I called again and spoke to someone in the loyalty department who told me that when service is set up the person is trying to get a commission and so they say anything for you to set up service and that basically I was lied to and would not receive the reward cards that I was promised. I ask for someone to open up the call or transcript from the call because I want proof of being lied to and she says basically that she is happy to cancel my service but that she was not going to do anything else to help and that all supervisors are off today. I cannot believe the level of customer service and disrespect that this company has. They have admitted to baiting and switching customers. I want my call pulled and a transcript of the call when I set up service and I am going to file a lawsuit. This is not about the money, this is about principal. What kind of company does this to its own customers? I have wasted countless hours of time on the phone. I have been treated like dirt and lied to each and every time I call. I have been hung up on (keep in mind each time, I am extremely nice each time, trying to give each person the benefit of the doubt). I want to file a class action suit again Uverse for baiting and switching customers because this is not right. I also have set up service with xfinity which I have had in the past, they do not offer the best prices, but they are upfront and honest with their customers and do not hang up on them.

Dozens of Calls Auto Dialed & Charged To Me!

In Oct. of 2013 I saw 13 calls to 408-216-0100 for a total of 17 min. I was informed when I called that it was a UNET Fax number of Comcasts(?) WHY?....In Nov. 2013 there were 51 calls totaling 106 min. Dec. 2013 had 25 calls totaling 34 min. Jan. 2014 had 7 calls totaling 7 min. Feb. 2014 there were 10 calls totaling 12 min. March showed 4 calls totaling 5 min. These are JUST THE ONES I CAN SEE! I wasn't ALLOWED to print out Statements for May or June because YOUR CO. SHUT ME OFF WHILE I WAS 'CHATTING' WITH YOU! WHY ARE THESE CALLS ON MY PHONE? I DID NOT CALL THIS NUMBER!

Since you CRAM HUNDREDS OF CALLS WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR KNOWLEDGE, i WANT TO SEE LOGS OF THE FIRST 250 'FREE' MINUTES! For all I know, the FIRST 'FREE' 250 minutes MIGHT ALL BE THE SAME NUMBER! I am filing a complaint with the CPUC as soon as I submit this one.

'SCAMED for Service"

This morning, 1/16/12, I contacted Uverse for new service. I was shopping for a change in bundled services after 12 years with a carrier. I was presently greeted by a customer service representative and went through all of the screenings, service officers and provided a quote for service. I accepted this quote and agreed to the installation. I was provided an order#, told that an email would be sent out to me with specifics and advised that that the installation would be done on a Saturday as I requested, week which would have been 1/28. Well after several hours and attempts to contact to ask a question about the Internet service, I finally reached another representative for inquiry. Well, there was no record of my order or call. I was told that the service that I was quoted was not right and that there was something else that Uverse would offer me, which would increase the service approximately 25% for the first year and 50% following. This person went from being sorry for me being given the wrong information to sometimes vendors sale services for Uverse and get it wrong. Well, vendors, Uverse or ATT, all represent this company and if their offers are that subjective, WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO RISK getting into a business arrangement with them. You know, as we were talking, this fraudulent individual was actually changing all the notes in the system from the call in the morning.

I think I am now going to cancel my wireless service with them as well now and go with someone that is trustworthy.

'SCAMED for Service"

Agreed, ATT reps are liars!
A door to door scumbag rep talked me into the service with much hesitation. I'm aware of the "deal" that ends after 6 months so I made sure to verify this was not a limited time offer. He told me it would not go up and there was no contract. 6 months later, my bill shoots right back through the roof, matching the amount I was abondoning from TWC. With all the upfront costs and hassles I specifically was not interested in a short term deal. I am filing complaints any way I can, BBB for sure, and will cancel my service. There needs to be some kind of repercussions that ATT must endure for unlawful, deceptive practices. I will do everything I can to marr their name, but I am a small fish...
