Audi promotion fraud email
I understand that no one can stop hackers or fraud but come on! First off... look at the email address it came from as well as the email you were told to send your information to. If it was really from Audi, the email addresses and links would reflect it! Still Audi has plenty of monetary assets to pay someone/company to track the people doing this and have them prosecuted and sue them. If the suit is won, Audi should at least offer a small amount to anyone who can show proof that they received and filed a complaint. People/companies would be amazed at how giving an irritated consumer even as little as $50 can change their attitude, opinion of the company and more likely to purchase the product/service, all just due to a little token of sympathy and good faith. It's better to split with consumers rather than have them bad mouth your company.
It doesn't make sense that Audi wouldn't try to catch the crooks who are giving the company a bad name. It would be smart on the company's part to catch them for publicity as well! Audi catching and prosecuting crooks trying to rob people of their money, identity or anything else they're after. Just a thought!
