TODD LEWIS IS A THIEF. BEWARE!!!

Please do not even consider giving this company a dime of your money. This Todd Lewis is a thief. I paid them 4200 to handle some tax issues which I wound up handling on my own after I paid them. Their commercial sounded convincing so I figured I would take a shot. I filled out their initial paperwork and cut them a check for 4200.00. Before I could even speak with them to go over my numbers , I spoke with my friend that is an accountant and he told me to get a refund and that he could handle it because it wasn't as bad as I thought. Long story short I called for a refund and Todd Lewis offered me 1800.00. They said they had a couple hours invested in my case and that is what they charge for that time. I went nuts telling Todd how I felt about his offer and told him to send me the 2200.00 so I could follow up with my lawyer to get back the rest of my money. I never heard back from them after a month so I had my lawyer contact Todd Lewis. At that point Todd told my lawyer that he was willing to offer me 500.00 to settle. I thought he meant 500.00 for his services and at that point I was satisfied with that number just to get something back. I was wrong, this idiot meant he was willing to give me back 500.00 meaning he was now charging me 3700.00 for the services they never even provided me with. I am seeking legal council at this point and calling the BBB. I honestly think they could care less. They are just a sinking ship looking to rob everyone that they can on the way down.

Blue Tax Todd Lewis Fire FInancial

Don't fall prey to the new company brought to you by the wonderful Todd Lewis and Justin Urbas [Of the quickly declining Blue Tax scam]

You'll notice the similar childish animated poorly designed website FireFinancial.com that immediately reminds you of bluetax.com

They're not even trying to hide the relation, if you look at public WHOIS records of firefinancial, it's registered to Blue Tax VP Todd Lewis, and blue tax mailing address:

Registry Registrant ID:
Registrant Name: Todd Lewis
Registrant Organization:
Registrant Street: 8236 Remmet Ave.
Registrant City: Canoga Park
Registrant State/Province: California
Registrant Postal Code: 91304
Registrant Country: United States
Registrant Phone: 3103392867

In case you didn't know, Todd Lewis is the malicious, degrading, demeaning vp of Blue Tax that will tell you that you are going to hell, or must prey on little animals.

He'll promise you the world on the phone, or if he does agree to a refund check, it will bounce, because Blue Tax doesn't have any new money. That's why their starting "Fire Financial" out of the same office. You'll see the domain is only 2 months old, so any claims of 'prior customers' or 'prior performance' are complete FRAUD.

If you want a little more backgrond on the owner of blue tax, that would be Justin & angelica Urbas, aka David Justin Urbas.

Look him up on http://losangeles.netronline.com/la-index.php , you'll see he has a nice track record of starting a company, defrauding the CA EDD [ca employment tax], and the IRS. It leaves his employees high and dry when they file their tax returns or file for unemployment, because according to the state, justin never sends any records to them.

Youll see he has tax liens against him by the state, by the IRS, under both Blue Tax, and XTS global, his prior companies.

He's now had to resort to using his poor wife's name [angelica urbas] to try to escape the public's eye. His wife is now listed as the president of blue tax consulting corp [http://www.corporationwiki.com/California/Los-Angeles/angelica-urbas/107770662.aspx ]

Think twice before putitng your financial and family's future in the hands of the Lewis and Urbas family who scam for a living, with no remorse.

Failure to provide services

A mistake was made on my complaint! The complaint was NOT about the BLUE TAX of California. I made an error in not verifying the correct address of my complaint. Blue Tax Inc, of California, IS NOT AND WAS NOT the tax company I had a problem with and I am sorry for the confusion I may have called.

Fraud

My 67 year old mother got taken for the tune of $5200. I thought I caught it in time. There were forms that were sent to my mother's email, one was for permission to take the $5200. I convinced my mother that these guys sounded fishy so I called them and got no clear answers. So I told them to freeze everything until they hear from me again. This by the way was the same day that my mother first contacted blue tax. So my mother and I thought that was the last we would have to hear from blue tax. A month later I learned that blue tax took the money over the phone. I was livid.

The reason why there aren't more complaints here is that first, if they think you are mad and capable enough they offer you back some of the money. Then if you are really mad and threatening they offer the full money back both with a confidentiality clause. So I assume most people take the confidentiality route. I'm not sure if they get their full money back, they won't tell you because they've been told to shut up. But I for one do not trust them. I think they are crooks. They are preying on the elderly and other non-suspecting victims.

If this has happened to you, do not accept their confidentiality clause. It is your right as an American to speak out against injustice.

First: claim bank fraud with the account that they extracted the money from. This is where I am now. I'm sure if enough of us do this, the banks will catch on to "Blue Tax" which turned themselves into "Green By Phone" when they took the money out.

Second: Make a complaint with your attorney general in your state. I am going to do this this week.

Third: If all else fails, be a hero and sue the bastards. They have it coming to them, who ever they are. Is Todd Lewis a real person?

Don't be the few that get quieted down by blue tax. Tell them to either refund the money the same way they took it or to see them in court.

Fraud, Lies, Scam

Call this place for assistance with a tax matter and, at best, you'll be connected to a nineteen-year old junior college student. They claim to have enrolled agents and tax attorneys on staff; if so, ask to speak directly with one, get their name, and do some independent research to see if they're actually what they are. The operation is largely run by a guy named Todd Lewis, who looks like a cross between Stifler and John Blutarsky from Animal House. I would not hand my money over to an organization like Blue Tax.
