Bobs Discount Furniture

Little bit of snow today, delivery scheduled for bunk beds for my twins' birthday tomorrow. Driver came all the way up the private road to the house, which is a pretty steep hill, but refused to drive into the driveway to complete the delivery. I explained that he'd already done the hard part, and the driveway was pretty flat and had a turnaround for him. He refused to go further and proceeded to back down the snowy hill!

I'm positive that he needed to go near the house so that his GPS tracking could record his "attempt" at delivery, but he clearly had no intention of spending two hours building the bunk beds. Probably wanted finish his easy deliveries and go home.

Bob's refunded my money after a very annoying phone call. I'm not done complaining about this, not even close.

Bad Service

Ordered TV stand/ fireplace. It came with dents. They sent s replacement which came with a panel cracked in half. Third try more dents. Four the try chipped bottom corner. fifth try only sent the fireplace. Finally kept first one with a gift card for our trouble. Fireplace stopped working. Called them to tell them out would not turn on. They sent represenative out. He show'd up, pressed the on button and said "it doest torn on, that is an electrical problem,there is nothing I can do." They have to send out a new unit. Only how it doesn't take 5 try

Ridiculous Delivery Drivers

We were scheduled for furniture delivery today. Our area got a little bit of snow early this morning. We were outside shoveling the little bit of snow that we received when we saw the delivery truck stop at the end of the driveway. We went to walk towards them and they drove off. We continued shoveling snow and a few minutes later, they appeared at the end of the driveway again. Once again we tried to walk down to talk to them and they took off. After about 15 minutes we decided to check the delivery website. It read as delivered. I immediately called the delivery number. After several minutes we were told that they would try to have them come back. After 3 different calls and an hour and a half later, we were told it had to be redelivered due to the driveway not being clear. Really???? What happened to common courtesy of actually talking to us? What happened to customer service calling and saying we are sorry but our driver will need to reschedule. Why did I spend a day off work and a few hours trying to figure out what was going on with our delivery? I want a refund for our shipping! What kind of service is that? We were pretty thrilled with the service we received at the store and then to end it like this is not good.

furniture falling apart

Brought a complete dinning room set with chairs, a special lift chair, and a center island back in june 2013. As of today march 6 2014, all the furniture is falling apart. this stuff is not even a year old. As of this morning I have been trying to get a hold of the warranty company "goof proof" for three days. Not only DON'T they answer there phones but it winds up going into voice mail for which is unanswered. Also on day of delivery the truck got lost and I had to go out and find them. On the second delivery again i had to go find them and thank god i had my son with me. They didn't want to follow me to the house cause it was late and they had a long ride back. So we put the items into the pick up. STAY away from BOBS.... Thats why its called discount furniture. Yoy get what you pay for.
