I've spent a lot of money and i was scammed by other companies trying to cancel my timeshare. My advice is that if you're going to hire a company to help you with the problem, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT, because it use to be a fraud. My Husband and I own or should I say owned a timeshare at Cabo Villas Beach Resort. Each year we have paid our maintenance fees around March, getting a late fee because they are due in January. Well last year we were in Cabo the first week in February and tried to pay it at the front desk and they said they don't accept them there, you have to pay on line. So when we got home I tried to pay our maintenance fee and were told that our contract had be discontinued. We spoke to Adam and he said that there was no late fee just a total cancellation of our timeshare. Funny that it was the same year that we finished paying off the time share. So they cancelled our contract, kept our money and ADAM, the rudest person I have ever dealt with told us tough luck, too bad! When we asked to speak to someone above him, he said he was the last person we could speak with and we defaulted by paying our maintenance late so he had the right to steal the entire timeshare from us. Funny they kept something worth $20,000 for a $500 maintenance fee.

We only stayed at Cabo Villas Beach resort 2 years out of the 10 years we have been going because both of those times were absolutely awful!!! they gave us the basement room one year looking out at a cement wall. They totally messed up our reservation another year, so we never stayed there, but banked it and stayed at Villa Del Palmar, which we LOVE. Cabo Villas Beach Resort is a scam. Don't buy there you will be very very sorry, like the rest of us. WE haven't stopped looking for a way to get our money back. Hopefully they will get what is coming to them.

My Wife and I have a timeshare at Cabo Villas Resort in Cabo. They promise us to resale one of our timeshare. We were stupid to believe that.
The truth is that I am not going to be able to use it.
