Catfish Dinner

Went to Captian D' at Merchant Square in Hiram Ga the meal we order was nothing to brag about. We got the Fish and catfish tenders and the catfish was little pieces of fish like the extra that came off when frying. Went to the front counter ask for a Manager and she told my husband that is the way the fish comes, which if that is the case false advertising on your commercial and pictures. We have eaten at the Captian D' many times and the last few times the service has been terrible and the food. When we were there last night a lady fell we help her up and the lady with her went to the front and ask then to please mop the tartar sauce off the floor and on the way back she about fell because there was something on the floor at the condiment area she put a paper towel down on it and told the girl she needed to mop there also which she did not the paper towel was still laying there when we left they were just walking around the paper towel on the floor. We went about 4:30 and they were not busy and table needed to be wipe off and not a single table was clean while we were there. This place has gone down hill since they changed manager. It seem to me she really does not care about her customers or how they cook the meals. We will not be going back.

menu misleading . poor service . food not good

FIRST THING . GOT THERE AND STOOD AT THE COUNTER FOR ABOUT 5 MINS. BEFORE SOMEONE CAME OUT TO TAKE OUR ORDER THERE WAS A GUY WORKING AT THE DRIVE THRU THE WOULD SMILE AT US FROM TIME TO TIME WHY WE STOOD THERE WAITING AND THE MENU WAS MISLEADING FOR MY ORDER . I ORDERED THE SUPREME SAMPLER . HAD NO MENTION OF CHICKEN ON IT BUT THAT'S WHAT I GOT HAD NO IDEA CHICKEN WAS SEAFOOD AND THE SIDE I ORDERED WAS THE GREEN BEANS THAT GAME AS BITS OF BEANS MAYBE HAD 3 NICE GREEN BEANS IN IT . MY FRIEND ORDERED THE ULTIMATE SEAFOOD PLATTER AND GOT SICK AFTER EATING LESS THAN HALF OF IT . HIS WORDS TO ME WERE IT TASTED LIKE OLD OIL AND HE TOLD THAT TO I THINK THE GIRL IN CHARGE AT THE TIME ON OUR WAY OUT BUT WAS SICK AFTER EATING . I THINK SOMEONE NEEDS TO VISIT THIS PLACE AND LOOK IN TO HOW THERE RUNNING THIS CAPTAIN D's . I'V EATEN AT ANOTHER CAPTAIN D's WHERE THE SERVICE WAS GREAT THE FOOD WAS GREAT THE EMPLOYEES WERE JUST A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH BUT NOT THIS PLACE . TO HELP PROTECT THE IMAGE OF CAPTAIN D's SOME ONE BETTER LOOK IN TO THIS LOCATION IT SUCKS . OFF THE RECEIPT I'M GUESSING THE STORE IN HAMMOND IS # 3809

rude employee

I wet to Captain D's store 3619. It had just opened and there was staff member mopping the floor because I almost slipped there was no wet floor signs out when I said something he said you fall it is on you then he put out wet floor signs. He also started talking to a co-worker about somebody that came thru driverthru and did not know what they want and the staff member said that is bullshit it is wasting my time this staff member also took a personal call and sat down in the lobby talking on his cell phone I could not get his name because he was not wearing a name tag. He was talking about I really do not want to be here if I was at home I would be chilling and watching TV. He was a large black guy who seem not to care about his job and the customer who were there.

Rude Drive thru employee

I cannot believe that there would be someone this rude dealing directly with the public in the drive thru window. I came to order the best fish in town but this person will never see me drive thru this Captain D's again.
I work for a pharmaceutical company in Memphis and a great number of us often come to this Captain D's for lunch.
I drove up and this muffled voice asked me what i wanted...i think!!! I could not even understand her. I ordered a three piece fish dinner and a country fried single fish dinner. She asked me if i had any coupons and i did not. She proceeded to tell me how much this total was. It was $17.81. and that floored me but i said OK and drove around.
There was another red car in front of me and this person was leaning over the window talking to him. It took exactly 17 minutes for him to leave and me to driver up. I was on my cell phone and had the time in front of me.
As i drove up this person had a white crop polo shirt on, a size small, that rode over belly that has stretch marks and tattoos all over it. Her hair was flying all over the place under this visor. He said to me." got a coupon"? I said you already asked me that and i said no. That's why this cost an arm and a leg. Then she asked me what dinners i ordered. She said never mind and got my orders together and asked me if what kind of sides i wanted. I told her again what they were and she yelled at me saying I SAID SAUCES!!!. I told her tarter sauce and she got my change, and handed me my dinners saying " HERE GOOD BY!!! I drover off and so did a few people after me without going to the window... I will never go there again!!!

King of Grease

My visit was in the drive thru. I was on lunch break and ordered the shrimp scampi, a medium tea and a dessert. First of all, they took forever to give me my food. I was just sitting in front of the window, and noone even cared enough to check on me and let me know what was taking so long. When someone finally passed my food out of the window, I took a peek inside the container and notice that my noodles had a lot of grease floating underneath. I was in a hurry, so I went back to work, which was five minutes away and called the complaint number on my ticket about the nightmare i witnessed. The complaint line took my information and said they would give the store a call. I asked them to refund my money, and I did not want to have to go back to that location because they would probably do something to my food. This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with this location and I will not be going back. The customer service is terrrible and they don't care what they pass you on those platters. Their mission is to get you in and out of there quick without even checking the food. The only time they will do anything is if someone complains. You shouldn't have to complain every time you walk into an establishment to get good customer service. Im tired of giving them chances and everytime I go its the same thing. Captain D's just lost another customer but I doubt if they will care enough to do anything about it.

cold food and worse customer service

My family and I went into this establishment to enjoy dinner when our food came out first I noticed that the baked potato was a very dark brown as if it had been sitting too long in the warmer so my husband took it up to the front and showed them the potato and asked for a new one. The lady in the drive thru called back they needed another potato. She stated they would bring it to the table when it was done. My husband come back to the table and we started to eat noticing that the mac and cheese was cold on all our plates and the chicken hard were hard. after about 10 minutes my husband went back to the front and asked about the potato we still had not recieved and she said it was almost done and at that time he had told her about the chicken and the mac and cheese. She then turned to the 3 employees in the back and yelled we had a bad potato our food is cold and apparently bad oh is there anything else sir? He stood there for a moment and she said the potato and he said yea and all three employees were standing over the potato laghing as they stirred it up! he said did yall do something to my potato and she said no we wouldnt do something like that and smiled. My husband brought it back to the table and told me dont eat ur potato we allowed the kids to continue to eat. That same lady came in the diningroom to clean the tables and walked up and said how was ur potato and we told her we werent eating it it had been handled before we got it and the first one was brown and she said they didnt know it was brown they dont see them and he told her it was cut open u can see that and the second one was stirred up. She threw her hands up and laghed at us. We were leaving a few minutes later planning to speak to a manager but we seen no one and got in our car pulled around the building to leave and there sat the manager, the lady that was so rude and the three that were in the kitchen sitting on a curb smoking. I have no idea whats any of there names cause I seen only one name tag and that was on the nice ypoung lady running the register up front(Danielle).
