International Inflated Cost
DO NOT ORDER FROM CARID IF INTERNATIONAL!!!
It will cost almost 300% of the price.
I ordered something for $37. UPS shipping on top was $33.
Total $70.
Then I got a message from UPS that it was at the border and I had to pay $42 to have it cross the border.
So the cost for a $37 item was $112.
I contacted CARID before my next purchase of $450. They discounted it to $350.
But...then added UPS international shipping, sub total....$620.
Then I found that UPS would add another $400 in brokerage and duty to continue to deliver it across the border.
TOTAL COST FOR $350 ITEM....$1020!!!!
CARID only uses UPS for shipping international orders.
Sooo...DO NOT USE CARID FOR INTERNATIONAL ORDERS.
Unless you want to pay 300% of the actual price.

Wrong Belt with Tension
I purchases an AC/Delco belt and tensioner kit one of the best on the market, but the the belt came in as a cheap one and the vehicle the belt is for was a 2006 Honda Civic 1.8L Delux model. The belt with the A/C Delco kit was for a Toyota Rav4. I did have a mechanic do the work as it was very reasonable compared to other repair jobs that I always do myself, but when he got to the belt he said what the heck. Contacting CarID they wanted photographs and a lot of information. They do have the word of an ASE certified mechanic he took it out of the box at the shop in the box which was sealed probably by CarID themselves who just tried to pass it off. I submitted 5 photographs of the wrong and right belt, had to overnight the right belt and get one that is of some quality and guaranteed for 200,000 miles instead of the one they sent for the Rav4 which is for 60,000 miles. CarID him questioned the refund amount I said $14.00 of the 69.00 for the kit. The part lists for 14.00 so that is fair. What is to think of here folks you sold the wrong part you take it back and give the customer a refund. It is not your choice. I have deadlines and can not order from hundreds of miles away and keep a car in the garage for weeks with other cars to work on or I would go out of business.
