WORST COMPANY EVER! This company runs the biggest scam on the planet and used the COVID-19 virus to prosper during these unprecedented times! My brother was coming into town for Mother’s Day and asked me to reserve rooms for him at the Hilton Garden Inn in Tyler Texas. This third-party scam operation had their 1-800 number on the website. I called it directly thinking I was reaching a Hilton property. They kept me on the phone and insisted I make a reservation and book it immediately because they had to release the rooms due to the COVID-19 Virus and there was no guarantee the rooms would be available later. After I asked if I could call back because I had to confirm with my brother, and this should’ve been a red flag, the operator told me that she would wait on the line until I heard confirmation. I then asked what the protocol would be if my brother needed to cancel one of the nights. She said I just had to let the hotel know directly. When my brother let me know that he only needed the one night, I called the hotel. They told me that this company CCI* Hotel Reservation is notorious for third-party booking and that I would have to contact them directly. So I did THREE DAYS PRIOR to my brother’s arrival date. They told me I was too late and that I was going to be charged the total amount for both nights.I was booking two rooms for two nights. A grand total of $446.88 plus a $7.99 Hotel Booking Fee. To make matters worse, when my brother arrives to check in, the Hilton Garden Inn in Tyler Texas told him that the reservation had been canceled l, even though I received a confirmation email from reservation desk.com a subsidiary of CCI hotel reservations that day expecting them! The Hilton Garden Inn then charged my brother for the room again! It had been paid in full a week prior! This is the most fraudulent business with which I have ever dealt! Do not make reservations with them. Call the hotel directly! Unfortunately, even though my husband is a Hilton Honors Club member, we will never book with a Hilton property again! Even after I explained the situation to them and they were expecting my brother, they were extremely rude and charged him for something that had already been paid for in full and they only stayed ONE NIGHT of the two night reservation!!!! WORST COMPANY EVER!!!
