Charged for services I didn’t receive
On March 14, I booked a room at the Hilton Inn in Fort Worth, TX. I used the hotel website to get the number for the hotel but discovered later that the line actually connected me to a third party. The only reason I booked the room was so that I could attend an event scheduled to start on March 15. When I got to Fort Worth I was advised that the event had been canceled due to concerns about Covid19. When I left the hotel the clerk told me that I wouldn’t be charged since I never used the room.
In April I checked my credit card account and discovered that I had been charged for a three day stay at the hotel. I had absolutely no success in contacting CCI Hotel Reservation so I disputed the charges through my credit card company. Initially the company provided a credit for the amount billed. I checked yesterday and found that CCI had re-billed my card for the full amount. I am currently out the money for a service I never received.

On March 15 I booked a room at the Hilton Inn at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, TX. I used the number for the hotel from the hotel website. Unbeknownst to me, the number was actually for a third party company.
When I got to Fort Worth, I discovered the event I came ffor had been canceled due to Covid19. When I departed the hotel, the clerk told me not to worry that I would be not charged.
In April, I received my credit card statement and discovered that CCI HOTEL RESERVATIONS had billed me for a three day stay even though I never checked in. I disputed the charge through my credit card issuer and initially received an account credit for the full amount. Yesterday when I checked my account on line I found that I had been rebilled for the full amount.

Fraudulent charges
On November 7, 2019 I stayed for two days at the Sheraton Four Points at O'Hare hotel in Chicago. I was there for meetings and my room charges were covered by my organization. Unfortunately I did not check my credit card statement for that period until several months later. When I did, I found a charge dated 11/7/19 on my credit card for $724.88 from CCI Hotel Res with an 800 number, 800-468-3578 Tx. I called the number and heard only recorded messages asking for my reservation number, which, of course, I did not have. I do not know how CCI got hold of my credit card information. Fortunately there were no unusual charges since then and I have canceled and replaced the card with a new account number.

Misrepresented as Actual Hotel
Tried booking a room at the Holiday Inn - Six Flags in Eureka, MO for a wedding in May 2019. I called a 1-800 number thinking that this was the reservation line for the hotel, but after some sleuthing today, I discovered that I had actually booked through a 3rd party provider. The person I speak with at the time I made the reservation represented himself as if he were directly associated with Holiday Inn. My credit card has already been billed, so I filed a dispute with my credit card today to attempt to reverse the charges since what I've been charges is more than the actual rate of the room and also due to the fact that this company did not represent itself correctly.
