Overpayment, need refund.
I moved to Des Moines Iowa in August 2016. I learned AT&T bought Direct TV. As a long term and satisfied AT&T customer I decided to try Direct TV starting in September 2016. AT&T do not have fiber optic in Des Moines Iowa and Century Link provided the connectivity and billing for AT&T. Tired of opportunities given to Direct TV I cancelled the service appropriately and returned all their equipment in March 2017. As proof I have a letter of cancellation from Direct TV recognizing cashing a $344.41 check on April 10, 2017. Simultaneously I moved to Kansas City Missouri and Century Link does not provide internet service so I cancel the service, I paid in Full March statement of $126.46 and I am told a remanent invoice for $48.94 is on its way. I always pay on time and never received the invoice so I did an automatic payment of $126.99 by accident overpaying $78.05. After nine calls and multiple chats a service representative tells me a final statement with corrected information will be issued. Just today I received the promised final statement billing me for $5.80 in addition to what they already owe me. I am infuriated since I have never been taken for a fool as in this ocasion.
