Lack of On the Go services

I am new to Lawrenceville. I have no choice but to use Charter. I travel a lot. I assumed, incorrectly it turns out, that like most other providers, I would be able to watch "on the go" programming (such as HBO, Showtime, CNN, et al) via my mobile devices. But NO! Charter does not allow such "conveniences" in the 21st Century. And that you (Charter) have me locked in by geography so that I cannot choose one of your competitors - is reprehensible. Get it together - and move with us into the modern era!!!!!!!

Misleading Phone Service

I have been a charter customer for many years (probably more that 20). We have TV, Internet and less than a week ago we added phone. I saw a advertisement stating that you could get all three features for 29.99 each. I called wanting to add phone and was told that I couldn't because I am an existing customer. That in itself made us feel unimportant that you would offer a better deal to a new customer that one that has remained your customer for as many years as we have. I added the phone anyway for 19.99 extra dollars to our bill. I spoke with the customer service rep and she told us that we could have a feature of caller ID that will flash on our tv every time we get a call. I thought that would be really good for us and I went ahead an made the appt for the installation. The guy came for the installation 3/11/14 and we again were told we should see this feature with in 48 hours. We waited and still didn't see this on our tv. I called again yesterday to be told that this was just down in our area and should be resolved within 24 to 48 hours. I called again today and was told that we can't have this feature since it is not offered in our area. I am very upset because we were misled by 3 people on 3 different days. We will have to pay for the 30.00 installation fee for a new service that we probably wouldn't have made the switch for if charter representatives would have just given us accurate information. I would love to switch back to verizon but now we will probably have to pay another installation fee with them. I feel totally betrayed by Charter right now. Nice way to treat a long time customer.
