Stay away from Chase Bank

Simply cashing two checks and depositing 5 checks with a paper clip on them through the drive thur window. Amanda came back and ask over the load speaker if i wanted to deposit checks and I barely heard her and knew there was deposit slip with a paper clip, so I said, sure please do so. Well she came back and before I could see her mistake she reply thank you. Unfortunately of course I needed to ring the call button and mention to her she deposit the whole thing and there wasn't a deposit slip in with the $66.55. She was Very rude and over riding everything I had to mention on my behalf and thought I was rude to her nd said, " Your being unbelievable and I'm the District Manager and I'm closing your account with us. " I said I needed her name and who do I see for this predicament, and how dare you talk to me in that matter.

Amanda refuse to mention her name and so, I went in the bank and she standing there with a big smile and offer me to her back office. I said, " I just can't understand you being so rude and you won't even let me talk or finish a sentence. Just hand me your business card.

Amanda said, " I'll give you my card and I'm a shutting your account down.!" Later I found out she only the Asst. Manager / Asst. Vice President of the bank, but the Real District Manager called and apologize with me and my husband. Personally I'm not going to be the last one treated in that matter and with a simple transaction with a ASSt. Manager who doesn't keep her mouth clam and just said, she sorry the customer's right you didn't have a deposit slip on those 2 checks. Won't happen with her, her future there at Chase Bank isn't going to be to long of a future, if someone tells her Customer out there are to help. Don't threaten them. Just because she thinks she has power over people with her title. Being threaten on closing my bank account over her mistake is so wrong. NO CUSTOMER CARE THERE AT CHASE BANK AT ALL!!! What a disappointment. For the Other Chase Bank Customers please help Amanda Contreras understand everybody makes mistakes and Unfortunately the Customer cannot be talk over and just listen. Over a simple transactions threw the Drive thru.

Stay away from Chase Bank

Sounds like a misunderstanding on both your parts. She asked if you were depositing check. You said yes. YOU did not say you were only depositing some of them. So in essence, you are the one who screwed up. If you want multiple transactions, do not use the drive through, especially since you said yourself you could barely hear her.

Liar, and Bad Attitude

$1.50 is not a big deal, but your customer services are really making sooo disappointed. I got my bill last month with a fee of $1.50. I called in to wonder what it is, then I was told that it was my interested of previous month. The lady on the phone said she could adjust it so i don't have to be paid. Then she talked to me about other promotions that you have. I told her that I don't need any of those right now. She said good bye and gladly hung up. I noted on my bill November 23, 2009 that I was called and get it adjust, which i didn't have to pay.

Today I received another bill with the fee of $1.50. I called in again to see what happen and there's a guy, so RUDE, just say that I have to pay. I wondered how come I was told that I don't have to pay, now I have to pay. He was just "it needed to be paid." If last time I called, and I was told so, I would pay right away. How come one person promise me one thing, and other make me do differently? Just because I don't accept any of your promotions, you won't adjust my bill? That's not the kind of big corperation do, which the guy was always said "we're BIG Corporation". I know and sure you have voice recorded and should have my conversation that resolve my problem of last month. When I wanted to talk to the person who helped me from last time, he doesn't seem happy and he won't transfer. What kind of BIG corporation is this? Well, at least nicely said have someone call me back or kindly help me solve the problem, rather than being so RUDE. This is probably just anonymous to you, but I just wanna make it straight. You know I would pay the full amount that I owned, but I'm not very Very Very HAPPY with your customer services at all. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I would not recommend my friends or other with Chase. I tried to find the feedback pages somewhere online, but I couldn't. I hope someone could read my complain and consider using CHase.

Liar, and Bad Attitude

You said the fee was 'interested'. Please clarify. It should also state on your bill what the fee was for. Credit card or bank account?

Did the girl say she would credit that particular fee? And did she credit it? Did she say the fee would no longer apply to your account ( however, if it is a valid fee, most reps will give a one time credit but cannot waive future fees. Based on part of your complaint, it sounds like that may be the case).

Unprofessional

OK, here's my story with CHASE bank. When i first opened my account, i was helped my the most courteous personal banker ever. Everything seemed fine until i received a letter from them threatening to close my account if i didn't provide a letter from the social security AD to verify my SS#. I thought to myself well ok, i will go ahead and come in and give them a copy of my social security card. Next day im at the branch where i opened my acct. One of the personal bankers along with the manager helped me; they made a copy of my ss card and they faxed it over to what this other department. Minutes later they said ok, Miss Ada we faxed over the copy now, everything is clear you can go about your business. 3 days passed, i used my card with no problems. Until the 4th day came. Im at the beauty salon getting my eyebrows done thinking i was able to pay with my debit card. After im done its time to swipe the *** thing, & it comes out as declined..!!! im thinking how could this be? i have over $500 in my acct. well it turns out these idiots have put a restriction on my acct w/out notifying me at all!! all because the copy of my ss card wasn't good enough for them. I get on the phone immediately w/this guy who was no idea was going on & barely speaks any ENGLISH & his telling me this until now. WHY IN the world would they not tell me that 3-4 days ago when i was at their branch. At this point i feel betrayed and played by these people who have decided to put a restriction on my OWN *** MONEY!! i wish they would have notified me before to avoid the embarrassment. GRRRR!!! ok, well the story goes on and one w/ not a happy ending. Now, im in the process of closing my acct, NOT MY CHOICE but bcuz they need more documentation from me. i already provide them w/a W2 a letter from the ss AD and they still need me to bring a stub from work showing all the #'s of my social. idk what else to do? OH & they still have the nerves to tell me they're charging me $25 to close my acct...

DO NOT BANK W/SUCH incompetent/RUDE/unprofessional people. CHASE BAD CHASE!!

Chase Bank has made the decision to choose Merchants over their customers in any dispute over debit card charges. IF you've ever used a Chase debit card you will shortly find out that the merchant that you used it at can reach into your account at anytime and take (steal) funds. If you contact Chase - they will ask you to contact the merchant first. If you cannot resolve the issue with the merchant and contact Chase - they will tell you that there is nothing they can do. I've sent e-mails re this and have cc'd Chase's ceo Jamie Dimon, did receive a reply that indicated that there was nothing that they could do. This is clearly taking the side of merchants over customers. I will be closing my personal account, business accounts - as will my colleagues.
