Rude, Disrespectful, Unsafe Server

Arrived at Cheddars in Fayetteville, NC on McPherson Church Road at 12:20 p.m. today, August 10, 2021. Naomi the server was rude and disrespectful from the onset. When she inquired about our drink order after pulling her mask down, I asked my eldest daughter to ask my youngest daughter, who was away from the table, what she wanted to drink, praying Naomi would pull her mask back us as my entire Family wore a mask. Naomi rudely and aggressively interrupted stating "I just need to know what ya'll want--I can get her order later!" My Family and I hesitated but elected to proceed to avoid conflict. Naomi visited the table dropping off the drinks with no mask on. When she returned with the food, she had a mask on her chin. As she proceeded to talk over the food with the mask still on her chin, I politely asked " Are you able to please pull up your mask?" Naomi again, aggressively stated "I will" and proceeded to talk over the food and not pull up her mask. After about 7 additional seconds, I asked her if she could pull up her mask. She yelled sharply, I SAID I AM--I HAVE A MEDICAL CONDITION! At that point, she put my food in front of me and I stated I did not want it with her talking all over it with no mask and that I needed a Manager. She walked off and never got a Manager. She rather tried to send a Team Leader out. I had to ask another server to summon a Manager. Herman, the Manager was just as bad. Not with a disrespectful attitude but rather an uncaring, nonchalant attitude as if I was interrupting his day. He asked, clearly bothered, "You asked for a Manager?" I explained to him what just occurred and his response was "I can't make her wear a mask." I explained everyone knows what's going on with the Virus however let's take the virus out of the equation. She's talking directly over the food and everyone knows you spit when you talk. I further stated if she was not going to wear a mask, then she shouldn't have it on her chin! He stated if they are or are not vaccinated, he still couldn't make them wear a mask. I advised him no one even mention vaccination status. The bottom line is she had a mask on her chin which is ridiculous--not on her mouth or nose at all. If she had a medical condition, maybe she shouldn't be out front serving. With that 91 Sanitation Rating, clearly this Cheddars already had issues. Let's not talk about the sides they were out of after we ordered and she had to return to ask us to order different sides or the croissants we NEVER got that they explained would come without the honey butter because they were out of the honey butter. Finally, as I told the Manager I did not want the food that was never touched, he took it back, stated he would remove it from the bill, and still charged us. A new, more professional server named Tamesha took care of my Family and removed the entre and drink from our bill that was never touched. It's sad that individuals in an establishment act as though they represent themselves and not the establishment they work for. The sad thing is maybe that's why Naomi and Herman work together--neither, clearly from their actions displayed today, care about the Customers or Cheddars clearly by the way they conducted themselves. Just sad.

Verbal abuse of staff and touchy feely manager

There is a manager at the Cheddars at Arapahoe and Parker in Centennial, Colorado. Rob the manager has been heard by clientele and other staff using foul language regarding staff members. He also seems to think that there is no personnel space when it comes to staff. His behavior is not appropriate for a manager, especially when it pertains to kids under 18 yrs of age.

My family enjoys eating at Cheddars the hostesses and wait staff are always friendly and upbeat. There is no room for a manger to act this way.
