Both of my mom's shoes fell to pieces on the same day during the same event. She had to wear them home with four rubber bands strapped around them to keep them on. I complained to the company on her behalf and they said they'd give her half off on her next pair. Gee, thanks. Neither Mom nor I will ever buy another pair of Clark's. They're expensive and pieces of junk. I like the comment I read here elsewhere. If you insist on wearing them, carry a spare pair of shoes in your car just in case these disintegrate before your eyes.
