I have always been #1 of Clark's shoes as they were the only shoes I could wear comfortably ALL DAY with no strain on my feet. I own many, many pair and styles of these shoes. During the last 6 months I have had 5 pair (two brown, one red and two black) totally fall apart while I was walking. I don't abuse my shoes and none of the subject pair showed much sign of wear. I was shocked and surprised to learn others have experienced the same problems. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing this brand any longer. Hope the Privo and Merrell brands last longer
