This sounds very similar to what they did to me, in fact it's almost identical.
How do they get away with it when it's so obvious they're breaking the law, or are they? They seem to be able to get away with it over a long period of time repeating their tried and tested scam, prison is not a possibility and they know it!
I wrote a letter to the Minster for Justice Kenneth Clarke QC regarding this company and to my amazement he asked to see me, what did he tell me? He told me the 'police in this country are not very good at dealing with anything complicated and they struggle with anything that's not the norm such as a punch in the face'.
He also told me 'the fraud laws in this country are not good enough and people such as Click Marketing are able to do as they please because of it'. What's to stop these people from setting up company after company and scam after scam, not a lot if this Governments Minister for Justice is to be believed!!

Totally agree with all the comments above ...i was cold called & stupidly smooth talked by a guy called Tony who said just a £50 deposit for a basic website of £350 of which once i was happy with it pay the remainder of £300 Ha! i was just another idiot that took the bait ... within a month at random intervals took £850 out of my account leaving me with overdrawn charges & an excuse as mentioned in one of the other complaints that i had not returned the mandate haha! i told them the reason i never returned this is because i was not happy with the shoddy child-like website they had built & to cut a long & painful story short ...phone calls & e-mails ignored eventually got some of my money back! bottom line is stay away from this company at all costs ... unless of coarse you a challenge & your middle name is 'Muppet" .. which mine clearly is ...
