I am a very dissatisfied customer who is extreamely appalled by the CNA store at pietermaritzburg midlands mall.

I had purchased a wireless mouse for my laptop from the store at 16:19 pm this afternoon, 6 May 2018, and when I got home just after 19:30pm I decided to open the mouse I had purchased.

I was shocked to see that the packaging had already been opened and was cleaverly resealed with clear tape, which is why I did not notice it at the store when I selected the time to buy.

Upon analysing the mouse it is highly evident that it is a second hand item as there are scratches at the back of the mouse.

I am extreamely disgusted that CNA would sell second hand products disguised as band new to their consumers and demand a refund for the item or exchange it for a brand new mouse that comes in a sealed packaging, as I paid for a brand new product not a used second hand one.

Attached are images of my till receipt, the mouse and the packaging together with the tape that was used to reseal it.

I am seriously considering going to the local newspaper and press regarding this as well as broadcasting it on social media so that other consumers are not blindsided by stores like CNA.

I await a response and will be calling the store tomorrow morning to voice my complaint
