I was cheated by the company called country club/ country vacations about 6 years back by offering a member ship for a huge amount 1.2 L . Since then I did not visit the club even once. I wanted to cancell my member ship and take the money back. But no one is responding. We can't send mail to them. No one knows whoo is running this. Though I have not visited they are asking me to pay the dues towards maintenance charges. I am a retired person of age 67 and starving even to face medical expenses. I did not adopt country club or its people who are enjoying and sucking our blood. How can our govt over look the tricks played by such cheaters in running buisiness. Kindly help me to get back my money and get rid of this bogus company.

I am retired person of age 67. I was trapped by country club/ country vacations to take membership about 7 years back. I paid heavy amount of rs 1.2 lakhs. Since then I did not go to the club not even once. I wanted to cancell member ship and take back my money but not finding way whom to approch. Iam not able to reach them and do not no the responsible person running this club. Now and then they are sending sms and mail to pay the dues. How and where I get help to get back my money and get rid of this company. They want to squeeze money and enjoy. Kindly help me.

I am from Bangalore, India. I went to one movie , there they gave me one coupon and asked us to fill my details in that so that one lucky winner will get gifts. After one week I got a call from shoping mall mail branch saying that " ur name has been selected for lucky draw this is just a verification call please tell ur details", I said my name, designation and they asked whether my salary is 25k+ per month, i said yes. Then next day i got a call from the same number " Hi madam congratulation You are the lucky draw winner and u got 30,000 worth kitchen appliances in that gift, please come and collect your gifts". I asked do i need to pay anything for that they said no, and then i asked is any meetings will be there for hours together for that also they said no.

Finally i said ok then i went there to collect my gifts, but once i reached there the asked me to sit for half an hour some COUNTRY CLUB promotions are going please listen to that. one and half hour they said about membership, their club facilities blah..blah.. Finally they asked us to join in the membership worth 1,50,000.

They said the gift worth 30,000 rs is only for people who will join in membersip worth 1,50,000. for remaining members they are giving one plastic tin worth 50 -80 rupees.

Its just a fraud trick to give their promotions. They are playing with people emotions. I started at 7pm to collect my gifts from home, i reached there by 10pm and 1000 rupees i spent on my cab. Everything is loss for me. Time , money everything is loss plus mental torture.

Sure government has to take necessary steps to ban this COUNTRY CLUB. They have to take severe action on them.

For all people, i am advicing not to join in country club membership, not to go blindly if you get calls from country club.
