I am a home builder, in June of 2015 I was in HD to acquire some quotes for the project I was building. I was interested in cabinets and some tile for the floors. I received the quotes and stated to the sales agent that I might make some changes to the project and that the quote would change, all dependent on the available funds available when the time comes for me to "order" the merchandise from them. The sales person was new on the job and seemed to have difficulties with my quote, but after some time he did get it completed. When I do a purchase from HD or Lowed for products on my projects, I get solid quotes, then take those quoted to the financial institution, my bank, they then make out a check to that establishment from the quote I give them, then I take that check to the check out and purchase my products, this is how I have done it for many years. My business partner in the company recently checked her credit report for reasons pertaining to a family financial situation and found out that HD had a report to the credit agency toward her credit for late payments. We both researched our complete records and founf nothing relating to that complaint. I also checked with HD about their records, they said they do not record back that far. I also the HD agent that when I finally did return a month and a half later to make my purchases that they did not have my previous quote in the computer, it was gone. They told me that th new person that was working that section was having troubles and probably made the mistake. He has since been let go because of incompetent abilities to perform his task properly. To make it short, he did something wrong, like submitted a quote as a sale to us, and this is why we never received any information on a late payment for items never purchased. The agent at HD told me to contact you here to remedy the credit problem to Shelia Heidema's credit which was severely damaged by this inaccurate reporting by the HD sales agent. She, Shelia works as an accountant for a airline service here and has always had impeccable credit, so our concern is important to us in our business and personal interest.
