Crothall Healthcare

On April 19 ,2019 I came to in at 230 pm for work. So I had to fill up my cart and go to my assignment room that is on my beeper . I was on the 7th floor going to the 9th floor when I had logged in that is when I run into three turn downs crew other housekeepers. They was asking me what room that I was headed to. I said 923 and I was told by them it was not broken down. I told them ok then and we kept going. That's when I spoke to a lady with blonde hair in blue scubs. I kelp going on pushing the cart to my room I saw a tall blackish brown headed woman in blue scrubs asked me what was I saying. I said 923 broke down. She start saying that is not their tec job to break down the rooms very aggressive. She said that Grant and her had a meeting about this the other day about who surpose to do the rooms. Then she asked about my phone in my hand. I told her we are allowed to have our phones and I told her that It was not my cosern about that. I was trying to go to my room but she was trying to hold a conversation and I was not in a move to talk so she reached for my badge. I took it off and then she try to get my picture without my permission. I was very upset .I ran from her then she kept following me around saying that she was gonna get me fired that I was disrespectful. She said that she knows Grant real well and I was loud and she was on the phone with the police and I went down stairs an told Grant what happened. Then Guy walk in a didn't asked me nothing about what happened was took her side and said were my badge. I went to the cart outside the door I saw two cops and I asked Guy why they there. I gave him my badge he said that I was suspended until further investigation. They had to view the camera. He said that Christen called them but it wasn't my fault. It wasn't no atocation. Then I went Guy told them that they can live now it was two side to a story. I came out the office and went to the breakroom and clock out. I came to check on the job for work Monday and Tuesday and Wednesday. Then over the phone he said that the camera doesn't work. They waiting on statement. I fell it unfair cause I was arass a they don't do anything to her but fault me cause of my age and color they went on her side. She was mad cause I would hold a conversation and I walked away. I would not let her take my picture. She is invading my privacy and the company policy. Why they didn't suspend her are make a compliant . I been very upset and depressed behind this. I am not familiar with people like that. Plan to wipe me out from a job cause I'm black. I have bills and children too work for its my right. I don't do anything wrong by walking away from mess.

Fired without a 3rd consulting which is in their hand book

Hello I am currently 5 months pregnant and was fired from Crothall at mobile infirmary. The reason they gave me was that I had to many absent but I had only 2 consulting about my absent days. This company has the worst policy for people with health problems. They say that a Dr excuse is still not an excuses absents which is crazy when u were hospitalized for 2days and have an excuse. They do not care about their workers at all what so ever. My schduel was changed without my knowledge I never knew where I would be working at every time I came in to work. Yes I had absents when I was very sick but I was always on time never late and worked very hard even while pregnant. When my schedule was changed I asked why I was put in the most busiest place in the hospital and I never received a answer of why I would be placed their and I couldn't move fast on my feet in the ER like they needed me to. I asked if I could be moved and I was told no. Long story short I was fired while pregnant for missing days at work but only had 2 consulting for my absent and never received a 3rd so how was I fired???

Release from work (unjustified)

I want to complaint about the management for the behavioral health department at st josephs hospital because i was fired because my supervisor alicia newton and my manager bobby brandt made a mistake with my vacations and made me get unjustified absences when it wasnt my fault which cause me to be fired by them and after they fired me they didnt follow the right process for firing me i have many witnesses that will be in my side to testified for me. Its really sad how poor management and racism cab lead to many problems that are happening now then i was an 8 year outstanding employee for the compass group company which was first touchpoint and then changed to crothall. I will appreciate the company having a review on their management because they are not following the processes how they are suppose to be follow and are doing many things wrong especially when dealing with employees.

Abington memorial hospital

Crothall at Abington memorial hospital is thee worst management I have ever seen, once you speak your mind in a good way for something they did wrong best believe your a target to get eliminated. Once you say or go to the human resources department bc they are unfair they will go thru your file and try to get you eliminated by any means. It's sad that everyone feels entiminated to speak because they might end up being fired. Management at Abington evs are all for self and not the patients. They will make sure we don't have supplies or don't want to give out overtime where it's needed bc they want that bonus that crothall give them for staying under budget. It's time to get lawyers involved and news cameras bc no one likes bad media about their business all over everywhere.
