Problem:

I requested quotes from CruiseCompete, and received 7 or so. I unfortunately choose Crown Cruise Vacations because I had booked a cruise with them earlier in the year. I was booking back to back cruises with Princess for the Panama Canal. The quote listed $300.00 on board credit on both cruises, also included in the other quotes. While booking it on the phone, I was told Princess had a promotion for free gratuities which we also qualified for. I was told repeatedly, and asked repeatedly, if I would be getting the $600.00 on board credit and totally free gratuities for both cruises. Checking my booking, the $300.00 on board credit is not there. On contacting them, I was informed I could not get both promotions even though I was told I could. One was theirs, and the other was Princess, so they did now honor their quote and I was cheated out of the on board credit they advertised. Obviously, I will never book with them again, but I want everyone I can let know not to not trust them.
