Had cataract surgery June 2016 and included was added cost $3600 per eye for Crystalens Posterior Chamber Intraocular Lens AT 50AO. June 2016 left yet and Aug 2016 right eye. Vision was GREAT at first then started getting blurry close up. Was told distance vision must have over corrected and they did quick laser . did not see changes but did start seeing these translucent white shadows floating around especially when cloudy out. Was told to wait a year , try not to use readers and use bright white light to train my eyes. Did that and about Oct started seeing some changes in eyes, thought it was allergy but then came Nov/Dec 2017 and started noticing i had to use readers again and my plate/food was blurry when I ate. Now i see that i am almost back to where i was pre-lens insertion. Went to get an opinion and was told this is common with this Crytalens and happens in the firs 24 months. The lens is supposed to flex back/forth when you look distance/close up. as the eye matures with the lens the tissue grows at the site an then the lens no longer flexes and where ever it stops flexing that is kind of what you vision will stay at. So if that is true why on earth are they using the lens. Katina Zepp
