The last 2 Saturdays, July 1 and July 8, CXS trains have blocked the crossing at Ansley, MS for over 1 1/2 hours at a time. This crossing is the only way out of the Lafrance and Heron Bay communities. To my knowledge at this time, it has only been a major aggravation of missed appointments and delayed trips, but if someone were to have a medical emergency, it could make the difference between life and death for an ambulance to get in or a patient in trouble to get out.
