I was kicked out of Dairy Queen for no reason!

I was kicked out of a Dairy Queen for no reason whatsoever!

Two weeks ago, I took my son for ice cream at the local Dairy Queen on 17826 Aprile Drive in Lutz, Florida. I ordered ice cream, two chili dogs and drinks. I paid in full. I asked for all the items on my chili dogs to be on the side since I like to put a certain amount on my food.

When I received my chili dog this go round, I received a teaspoon worth of chili in a measly little plastic cup. I paid well over $6.00 for a hot dog with chili and cheese, a small onion ring and a small drink. At least they could have given me an appropriate amount of chili. I do go to another Dairy Queen down the street on SR 54 and they always give me a styrofoam container, three times bigger than this little sauce container and fill it to the top.

Needless to say, I was unhappy, so I asked for another chili. The manager came out and informed me loudly that this is their policy, that the amount of chili I received is what they give and that if I don't like it, I don't have to come back.

I walked over to the drink station to get my drink and whispered under my breath "What a dick". No one was around, no one was in earshot and I barely even whispered it.

We talked to the nice people next to us (they were wonderful bakers from Publix who made my son's birthday cake several days before - we let then know how delicious it was).

There were teenagers around that day cursing like sailors. No one came over to them to shush them.

We ate our food and left - no other words were spoken.

Today, 10/6/2017 at 3:45 roughly, we went back to that same Dairy Queen because it is the closest one to our home. I forgot all about the MINOR incident two weeks prior.

I ordered about the same thing and the owner, who happened to be there, said he had a picture and wanted to talk to me. I paid about $17.50 or so for my food and sat down. The owner came over and put a piece of paper with my picture of me wearing a green shirt, paying for my food. I looked at him and asked what's up. It was then that he nearly yelled at me for saying profanity out loud the last time I was there and that I was not welcome. The manager who yelled at me was not apologetic, and stood there while I was literally harassed by the owner.

I waited till he was finished and then told him my side. Before I could
finish, he kicked me out of the establishment, along with my son, and publicly, loudly told us he would call the police if we ever showed our faces again.

I am a good standing member of my community. I own a business. I pay for the things I buy and am a moral, ethical, honest and hard working person. I am NOT the kind of person who EVER gets kicked out a restaurant or any other business.

To say I am SHOCKED is an understatement. I was publicly humiliated, yelled at, blamed for really nothing and thrown out.

I am asking everyone to pass this around, not ever spend one more dollar at Dairy Queen, especially at the above location. Remember, this is the OWNER that threw me and my boy out. I was polite yet passionate and did nothing to deserve what happened.

Oh, yeah, and they did not give me my food or a refund either.

Please boycott Dairy Queen for being horrible to a good member of the community.

Thank you.
