OK User92652 - Just to clarify several things, this is a COMPLAINT page, so before you go ahead and get excited about people bashing breeders on this kind of site, maybe you should do your homework too.
This forum is used for people who are looking to inform others about their experiences with breeders & sellers online, considering that for some, this is the only forum for discussion.

First things first, you have no idea which breeders are "reputable" whether licensed or not. Anyone can go online and write a complaint or response to someone they have done business with, as well as the breeder who the complaints are aimed at.
The fact that you could even mention a subpena just shows how ridiculous of a person you are. Forums like this are created for people like us to write our OPINIONS, so if you don't have an experience or complaint, then you are wasting your time with empty threats as if anyone is doing anything wrong.
Normal people don't just take the time surfing the net to reply to people on forums for absolutely no reason, so I'd guess you are a breeder who is feeling bad about your internet search, or you just have too much time on your hands.
I highly doubt that anyone who had a bad experience with a breeder would go out of their way to bash them without any good reason.

Secondly, SHAME ON THE BREEDERS who ship animals out without them being 100% healthy. If the breeder did take the necessary precautions or act as someone who I would consider to be "reputable" then there would be no reason for anyone to write people up on the internet IN THE FIRST PLACE!

I will admit, adopting any living thing through an internet source is not a great idea, and the most prominent reason is because the people who trust breeders to do the right thing end up being helpless because of the distance. I myself was very naive about using the internet as a credible source for adopting, and I paid the ultimate price by having a very sick and congious puppy sent to me only to watch him die 3 days later. The breeder is not someone I would ever consider reputable and if she was licensed then it should be pulled, not to mention the American Kennel Club had no one with her name registered at all.
People like her use the internet to pedal dogs to unassuming consumers and animal lovers alike.
A reputable and responsible breeder would not send out a dog with parvo and then ignore the person they shipped the puppy to for the following 2 years.
I did all my homework during and after this incident, and I reached out to countless different agencies to try and find some resolution, so your comments and feedback on people's experiences and stories is irrelevant to anyone posting on this site. You, just like all the negligent breeders, are not credible or accurate to comment on anyones personal story, so for future reference, save your energy and time and keep your comments to yourself, or post them on a forum where people might care what you have to say.
