I went on the website to order 8 CD's for which I felt I was getting a great deal. While on the website, I indicated the shipping address I wanted my item sent to (which was different from the billing address on my Paypal account) and I paid for two day shipping. I'm leaving the country for 3 weeks and had planned on taking these items with me so it is absolutely essential that they get here on time. Not only did deepdiscount ship me items to the wrong address, but they flatly refused to reroute the package and were very rude in the process. The acknowledged that they have had the same problem many times before but claim that the packages ship "automatically" and it is too late to cancel or change them (even though I have not received a tracking number or shipment confirmation yet!!!) At the very least I could contact the post office and attempt to reroute or intercept the package!!! I believe this is an absolute travesty and this company is a ripoff with horrible customer service. Customer service is not supposed to be arrogant and ignorant, they are supposed to make customer's lives easier and make things better. NOT SO with this retailer!!!!!! Never, ever again. And don't expect that you can get their attention by email, phone or otherwise. After basically refusing to deal with your complaint they will turn the cold shoulder.
