I applied for my maternity uif 23.02.2018
No payment till today
26.03I was signing told to wait for 15 days due to holidays.

11.04 was told I used an irrelevent bank which is bidvest (dnt know why I wasn't told on Feb that this bank is nt recognised)then I filled the form to change banks was told will receive payment the following week

18.04 have to borrow money now for follow up
Was told there is a declaration that shows m back at work

Iam frustrated now
All in all iam not receiving my payments only getting excuses each time and I have to travel to the office each time to get feedback and it costing me

Been to offices several times been told diff. Excuses.
1. On 26.04. Was told my employer is not updated and will be sorted, I will get my payment after a week

2. 11.04 was told the delay is because of the bank I used which is bidvest then told to use another and I did fill the form with my other acc.
Was told next week will get payment ( why I wasn't told this Feb while applying)

3. 18.04 was told there is a declaration of payment which shows I'm back at work receiving a salary
I'm not sure to call this poor service or staff incompetence.

Iam so frustrated with this delay.

I tried to phone the department of Labour in Kwadukuza several times. No one answes the phone. When at last I got through the operator was so rude to me. He told me to phone back after 15h00. I have sent several emails and no response. A person never knows when you are getting paid. They are totally understaffed and unhelpful and rude.
