I've been an owner of Palm Canyon Resort TimeShare for over 20 years. Due to unemployment and other personal challenges, I haven't had the opportunity to use my ownership points at Palm Canyon (or any Diamond Resort) for over 4 years. I receive points every other year. If I don't use them, I lose them in a specific time period. This period, the expiration was 10/31/17. I've had this issue in the past, before Diamond Resorts acquired Palm Canyon and Owner services obliged in extending my points (to be used at Palm Canyon only) for another 12 months. It's only been 8 weeks since that expiration and even though they could oblige, they wouldn't. Very disappointed in Diamond Resorts!

Last February I went to Hawaii for a conference and some tour guide sent me to this diamond resort vacation program. They keep going on and on and would not let go. I said no to the first person and she sent their big boss. He kept talking nice man but would let go. Tried to sell their vacation point as i could not get rid of him i ultimately agreed to sample their vacation and paid about 300$ . Deal was I could sample their vacation program with out actually becoming a member for the next 2 to 3 years. For that I have to pay probably 3000$ (exact figure do not remember) in monthly installments. I came back to Australia and decided I donot want it. I have not used their sampler once and donot intend too. I let them know that i donot want to continue and to cancel the contract. But they keep sending me mail. Today they threaten me that they will take legal action against me. Can they really? Is it legal what they are doing?
