Unauthorized charge of more than $1100
After having a bundled service with CenturyLink for several years, and the price went up, I called to reduce cost. CentruyLink made me change my Satelite provider from one Satelite provider to DirectTV. When they did that, they original provider kept sending me bills, as did CenturyLink and DirectTV charged me on a debit card. I tried to get this all straightened out and each of the three blamed the other and told me that I needed to get it straightened out with the other. So, after two months of this, I finally, told them all to take it all out and I went with cable. Not so fast -- now, I have cancellation fees, and DirectTV charged me $1170 on me debit card (early cancellation fee), even after I told them not to and that I would consider it fraud if they did so. They stated that I had a 24 month agreement (I never was told that by anyone until I asked to have it all removed). On top of that, I continue to get a "package" bill from CenturyLink, and that bill is now over $700. When I call anyone, I just get hung up on, or put on hold for extended periods of time. Now I am having a hard time getting any attorney to take a case because these folks are so hard to corner

Unauthorized charge of more than $1100
Call your bank and dispute the charge. Tell them it was an unauthorized charge. If they seem hesitant, just insist it was unauthorized and they reverse it. Then change your debit/credit card number.
