I love shopping at Dollar General but with your new adds I am sick and tired of not being able to get prices on your adds. You have digital coupons to get items at a special price but not everyone has smartphones and can not use specials. I do not have a smartphone so therefore I am not able to get any deals. This is so unfair to people like me and I hate to stop shopping with Dollar General but like I said the digital coupons are so unfair.

employee being very rude and disrespectful

at dollar general store number # 11418 located at 7613 S Nc 87 Hwy Graham, NC 27253 an employee named (Roy) a manager to mind you was working and i was in the store and a older man and his wife came in and he had some type of mental of health illness and he would just yell out random stuff at times like he needed help get a pack of water and some other things and instead of the employee named (Roy) helping him with what ever he needed he procced to say if u dont be quiet i will have to make u leave to store and he said this multiple times and instead of helping him he just keep on saying out very loudly that he was going to make hm leave and a few people in the store found this very rude and not professional of him i would like for him to be punished for his actins like being fired and to add he is one of the managers

I was in the Dollar General store in Mt Holly NC store #03795 at 17:39 tonight. There was a line of about 7 people waiting to check out. As the one female was checking she called for Tyler . He came out of the office helped her with something and then went back to the office . Never came out to help us check out. When it was my turn to check out. As I was giving the cashier the money she had her personal cell phone out and was texting someone. Before she handed me my receipt she had to finish her texting. Then I had to turn the thing that has the bags on it to get my stuff. That is not good Customer service at all . And this is not the first time that this has happened.

manager rude,smokes cigaretts at entrance door.

this manager is rude and inconsiderate,she has certain employees that she favors over others.She smokes at the entrance way as customers are coming and going and most people can't stand cigarette smoke,also she let certain people go and buy alcohol with out showing proper id.I love dollar general stores and it's a shame i may have to go to a dollar general 15 miles away because this one is not being run the way coporate wants it to.

cluttered/always stuff in the aisles

In the recent months I have noticed lots of cluttered aisles. I am in this store at least 3-4 times a week. Carts with broken down boxes,items with no room on the shelves (toys) stuff that has fallen to the floor and very unorganized shelves. The employees are always working, I have never seen them lazy or acting up but they seem to be pressed for time. Maybe not enough employees. This is a very nice store and close to me, I would rather go here. It just seems that they may need some help.

cluttered/always stuff in the aisles

I have never had problems with the people who work there,they are always very nice. In the recent months I have noticed the store is always cluttered up. This is the closest store to me and would rather go there but the floors are full of items,boxes, carts with broken down boxes. This isn't a difficult fix I know. From my view of things, there isn't enough employees to handle the things that need done. One good person who likes to straighten things up and doesn't have to worry about covering the register also. I dont want to get the employees there in any trouble, they are doing the job but it seems they have too much on their plates.

Poor Checkout Service

Went to the Dollar General in Hollister, NC, Store# 10063, on Labor Day. I was a little excited because I just started my online account and was anxious to use my digital coupons for the first time. The pad never showed a prompt for a phone number like the internet site said it would. So I asked the cashier what I needed to do. She told me they didn't accept digital coupons at their store. I told her I was not surprised since it was Halifax County. I told her I saw an icon or something on the pad that said something about digital coupons. She very adimately told me they didn't accept them. I didn't argue with her, but something told me to check back online. I didn't see anything that said, it was only @ participating locations. I decided to call the manager. She told me they did in fact take them but they had been having issues with their machine. A work order had been submitted but it will probably be at least another day until someone would check it out. I completely understand equipment issues, they can't be helped. But on the other hand, the cashiers lack of information and attitude was what got me. If she was unaware of what I was talking about it, she should have said so and got a manager. She told me TWICE, they didn't accept Dollar General digital coupons. Didn't attempt to get the manager or anything. If you don't want to work or have a problem waiting on customer then maybe you shouldn't be in retail or working with the public BOTTOM LINE. Also, the fact the manager didn't even apologize or say anything about the cashier's behavior was the real kicker.
