Dress Republic.com is the biggest spammer. The guy Mohammed (I am not sure if he told us his real name) scammed Canadian $1500. It was the biggest embarrassment for us because my fiancé (now my wife) ordered a bridal dress from them by paying full amount CAN $1500. He promised delivery of the dress a month before the wedding date. However, kept promising and delaying until he didn’t send the dress and demanded more money to send it in the last minute. He then stopped answering any calls altogether and when asked for the refund he suggested he still sends us the wedding dress months after the ceremony! He messed up our marriage arrangements, which had to be postponed, and at the end, we rushed to buy a new dress locally and married at a different date.
Until, today he didn’t return our payment and we didn’t receive any product we paid for, although we don’t need the dress anymore.
As I can see here, he scammed many people and their hard-earned money. As I am proceeding to take legal action against him, if anyone of you have further evidence, please contact me at the phone number or email below to save others from his scamming business across the world.

I have to agree with the first complaint that this website "www.dressrepublic.com" does list several phone numbers and cities. However, whichever number I called, it went to the same voicemail and only one and the same person have been returning my calls. Moreover, when we asked them if we can make the payment in London, UK as my fiance lives there and he can pick up the outfit, this person Nofel Khan mentioned that we cant to that and they will only ship it to us.

Then they dont have any "medium of payment" on their website !!! So far I have done all my wedding shopping online from India and all over the USA and UK and always paid either by Paypal or debit/credit card ! Never had a single problem including the merchants on www.ebay.com !! However, this person asked me to send the money which was $1599.99 for my outfit by wire transfer. I told him why cant he make an automatic debit from my a/c and he said, "no, you have to talk to your bank and initiate the payment into ours". He provided me with his a/c number, however, again with no business address !!!

I called my bank and as soon as I told them I need to initiate a wire transfer to a merchant who doesnt have paypal or debit/credit payment method, my banker got alerted and said "NO, DONT DO IT. ITS ALL FRAUD." He then asked me the website information and told me to look up here on www.complaintboard.com and few other places, where there are complaints lodged against this merchant.

THIS IS ALL FRAUD !!! WHAT KIND OF MERCHANT DOESNT HAVE PAYPAL OR DEBIT/CREDIT AUTHORIZATION METHOD THESE DAYS ???? I have made all big payments, some over $2000.00 over paypal etc, so this is all fake when Nofel Khan said to me, the paypal gives problem when you pay over $1000.00 !!!

PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ARE IN THEIR PHYSICAL STORE, WHICH I DOUBT THEY HAVE !!
