Selling Lemons

In 2016 I purchased a 2011 ford fiesta from them. 6 weeks after I purchased it, it broke down on me out of town. I thought nothing of it initially, but after getting it fixed, it continued to break down on me continuously. In June of 2017, it broke down to the point to where I could no longer afford to get it fixed.

In March of 2017 my fiancee purchased a 2011 Chevy Cruze from them because we needed the backseat space (we have 2 kids and were expecting). It is now November 2017 and the Cruze has literally broken down every other week since we got it. The last 3 times it broke down, it apparently wasn't covered under warranty. Those repairs alone totalled 1500. As I have said before, we are a family of 5 on one income. We cannot afford to dish out 500 in repairs every two weeks for something that is never getting paid down.

I hope anyone else who has had a Lemon issue from DriveTime/Bridgecrest/SilverRock addresses it and we cam get some sort of Class Action filed against them and get these criminals shut down for good. They are selling cars that are no good.

Agreement offered after hurricane declined

I am a customer of Drive Time who has had problems with Bridgecrest Financial.
We were hit with hurricane Irma on September 9th. Everything was flooded and no work for 1 week. I contacted the company and asked if there was anything they could do to help me extend my upcoming payment due on the 25th. I was told they were offering to put the payment at the end of the loan and I needed to look an email that I would need to e-sign to confirm the agreement. I didn't receive the email within a couple of days so I called every day and was told it was still in the process stage. When my payment became late I no longer had to call them because they started calling me every day to only tell me it was still waiting approval. After a week and a half, when I spoke with them, I was told my request had not been entered correctly and she would redo it and to await the email again. Still speaking with them every day getting the same info. Finally when I called I was told the request was denied because they are no longer offering that option. I explained it was offered at the time I put in the request so that should not have anything to do with what they are offering now. They explained that they met their quota on that offer so I can set up an arrangement with them. The only arrangement was to tell them when I can make the payment (within 14 days). I had several conversations with them with no avail. I complained about the interest being charged for this payment which is now late and the fact it would reflect on my credit report. They did give me credit for the interest charged up to the day I spoke with them and that was it.

Balance due

I made a payment online yesterday and noticed that my total due was at $17,000+. I purchased this car in 2015 and have had several complaints open already with drivetime. When I looked previously at my balance it was $12,000+ so how did it get to $17,000 now when the car was $18,000 when purchased which was already a scam. The car is only worth $5000. This company should be put out of business and there has to be some laws against what they are doing. I've been seeking legal council. I've opened complaints before. I've asked them to trade this car since it was a lemon and wrecked. I've made all payments and yet according to this balance I owe the same amount I owed 2.5 years ago. I hope someone has a class action lawsuit against this company AGAIN and they will get shut down permanently and not just change their name. I'm definitely looking for a lawsuit.
