Queues not moving

I applied in September for Uif.I waa told to come back on 4th November which I did come back and only to find out that my documents are not yet processed. So the consultant took me to the room were the documents are kept and being processed. My forms are lying there and the processing staff says she will processed it now.
The consultant said I will receive an sms saying it will say 35 days must ignore that.
I still have not received any sms yet indicating that it is approved or rejected. I must come back on the 18th November .
I'm back once again and the 10 people that they have taken at 730am this morning is still inside and not yet seen to..its now 11h36 we still standing in the heat and our queue hasnt moved as yet..no supervisor or manager to assist us..

Your feedback will be appreciated

No Feedback, Maternity claim

Good day,

I have not had any lucky getting through to the phoenix branch. I reside and work in Johanesburg but I am originally from Durban. I gave birth in durban and decided to spend my maternity leave there.

I applied for maternity benefits in January and still have not been paid. I only got an sms 5weeks later saying my claim was rejected with no reason to elaborate as to why. All my forms were submitted and the guy checked and said all was well.

Iv been told other people get an email atleast explaining why. We are now in August and I have not had any help.I cant travel to Durban because of the lockdown. All I ask is for some clarity so I can get this sorted out. Please assist. I have sent countless emails and no one has replied or given me something solid to go on. ref no for claim is 30004162965

Uif Claim

I visited the department of Labour on the 12th January 2017, I was given a date to return on the 9th Feb 2017. I did go assuming I would be collecting by this week knowing the process by law that 2weeks I should of waited yet the wait they had given me was almost a month. Only to return and find that it hasn't been processed by Pretoria office only to call Pretoria waited over 20 minutes exhuasted my airtime then called the Friday office was closed then today Monday 13th and find out that my claim was not submitted at the the phoenix Labour department and I live all the way in Wentworth which is Durban south and phoenix been far up Durban North paying busfair of nearly R70 on each of my 3 visits. This really needs to be addressed as the people working in those offices are extremely rude and incompetent. I am desperately in need of the funds as I have bills to pay just like those in the office getting paid for lieng to citizens of this country and sitting on they fat asses and doing no work whatsoever... I really suggest it be addressed as soon as possible. [email protected]

uif payment

I was at department of labour at Phoenix at Durban for my uif payment on the 20th December 2016 and I submitted my forms and everything went well. My problem is the they told me that I must come back on the 2nd of February 2017 I believe it is unfair to me because it is uif and school are opening January 2017 and I need to buy stationery for my kids and now I can't cause I must wait till February next year. I did ask a guy who was helping me unfortunately he didn't have a name badge on, he didn't give me a proper explanation.

Phoenix office did not submit my Ui19 form for maternity benefits

I had initially submitted all documents to my local UIF branch on the 5th of May 2016, they only up loaded it on the 10th of May. I visited the office after 4-5 weeks as I was told only to find out on the 4th week my claim had still not been approved. In desperation (as I am now out of pocket cos I've on maternity leave since 11th of April 2016 and not paid yet) I contacted head office. Head office has been most helpful and got my claim to be approved, but only to realize that my one Ui19 form was not submitted and I am only getting a portion of my one payment. Why is the local offices so incompetent and couldn't tell me this when I went there on the 9th of June? As previous people have been saying its almost like UIF will find every excuse in the book not to pay you out your own money that you have been contributing to them.
